American ginseng residue is an industrial by-product of saponin extraction, including polysaccharides and amino acids; however, it often discarded into the natural environment, representing a waste resources as well environmental issue. In this study, we examined effects adding to basal diet sika deer. Twelve antler-bearing male deer were assigned randomly groups fed supplemented with 0% (CON), 1% (LGR), 3% (HGR) residue, respectively, (

Hybrid Broussonetia papyrifera shows great promise for use in antibiotic-free feed, potentially contributing to the green and sustainable development of animal husbandry industry. In this study, we investigated impact silage on intestinal health Kazakh sheep. Forty healthy male sheep, aged 5 months weighing an average 28.28 ± 1.14 kg, were randomly assigned either a control or experimental group, each comprising four replicates, with five sheep per replicate. The group was fed basal diet, while received diet supplemented 20% (dry matter basis). 70-day experiment included 10-day adaptation phase followed by 60-day feeding trial. results showed that there no significant difference growth performance apparent nutrient digestibility between groups (p > 0.05). However, exhibited significantly greater total antioxidant capacity, alongside higher contents superoxide dismutase, catalase, glutathione peroxidase, immunoglobulins A, M, G, interleukins-2, -6, -8 mucosa; contrast, malondialdehyde interleukin-4 reduced < 0.01). Furthermore, dietary inclusion resulted reduction relative abundance bacterial genera Turicibacter Romboutsia conclusion, enhanced immune function, increased pathogenic bacteria without negatively impacting their digestion, thus supporting overall animals.

More and more evidence has showed that low glycaemic index (GI) diet was a benefit to the Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM). However, detailed mechanism not clear. Here, we detected effects of low-GI on HFD/STZ-induced T2DM rats model. Our results significantly decreased triglyceride glucose level in serum rats, increased insulin C-peptide rats. Besides, also Bacteroidota at phylum level. And genus level, promoted proliferation abundance Turicibacter, Lactobacillus, Desulfovibrio, Prevotellaceae, Lachnospiraceae, Monoglobus, Xylanophilum Roseburia. Moreover, found improved contents valeric acid, acetic propionic isobutyric butyric 2-methylbutyrate, isovaleric 4-methylvaleric acid hexanoic acid; upregulated levels peptide YY (PYY), glucagon-like 1 (GLP-1) G protein-coupled receptor 41 (GPR41); numbers L-cells (P < 0.05). Additionally, content interleukin 6 (IL-6); transforming growth factor-β2 (TGF-β2) fibroblast factor 19 (FGF-19); enhanced activity cholesterol 7α-hydroxylase (CYP7A1)
