In this study, advanced solar steam technologies are explored for their potential applications in seawater desalination and wastewater purification. We have developed a three-dimensional photothermal evaporator using MXene, luffa sponge (LS), graphitic-carbon nitride (GCN) activated carbon (AC). The hierarchical Ti3C2Tx MXene/GCN/AC@LS composite exhibits superior thermostability, pH stability, mechanical durability. having dimension of 1.25 cm displays excellent performance, leading to high evaporation rate 2.6 kg m−2h−1 solar-thermal conversion efficiency 96 % under 1 sun illumination. This is attributed the good light absorption by coupled with better wetting through internal microchannels LS, which envisages faster water delivery water. captures residual heat from sidewall surface as an additional source energy.

Currently the world is facing significant challenges of meeting rising demands production green energy. Clean energy technology development has received a lot attention because increasing shortages and aggravating environmental degradation. It critical to address these by developing materials that facilitate carbon-free technologies. MXenes, an emerging member 2D nanomaterials family, distinctive features in terms clean storage. This review analyzes various MXenes synthesis methods based on several key factors. The focuses MXenes' applications storage devices, particularly rechargeable batteries supercapacitors. exhibit exceptional electrochemical performance due their high specific surface area, excellent electrical conductivity, unique interlayer spacing, enabling efficient charge fast ion diffusion. We discuss implementation as electrode lithium-ion batteries, sodium-ion lithium-sulphur metal air Moreover, examines hydrogen (H2) have shown tremendous potential photo/electrocatalysts for water splitting, process renewable production. Their chemistry tunable electronic properties enable evolution reaction (HER) activity. recent advancements MXene-based with catalytic durability. Furthermore, we highlight prospects associated H2 Strategies improving stability, scalability, overall are discussed. not only provides comprehensive analysis research efforts but also serves guide future directions utilizing global sustainability challenges.
