Abstract Transitioning to safe, nonthermal, and edible strategies for maintaining fruit vegetable (F&V) quality, reducing postharvest losses (up 55% annually), ensuring food security requires extensive research innovation in technologies. This review aims provide an updated understanding of coatings or films (ECF), focusing on their role F&V losses, based data from the last 40 years retrieved Web Science database. The global ECF network is represented by publication trends, majorly researched F&V, key areas, influential emerging authors, ranking. preserving quality has been assessed examining critical parameters, including weight loss, total soluble solids, titratable acidity, ripening, softening, sensory organoleptic characteristics, browning, chilling injury, microbial safety. Furthermore, recent advancements formulations, nanoscale ingredients application methodologies, have critically discussed. Sources, categorization, strategies, mode action, functional properties, sustainable development goals (SDGs), challenges, safety, legislations, future perspectives also findings indicate that China (20.34%) USA (9.94%) are leading countries research. Studies demonstrated ECF's potential parameters through advanced compositions methodologies. Notably, supports multiple SDG targets, SDGs 2, 3, 8, 9, 12, 13, 15. Future should explore 3D‐printed coatings, nonflavor‐altering components, crosslinking agents enhance reduce losses.

Omics methodologies, such as genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics, lipidomics and microbiomics, have revolutionized biological research by allowing comprehensive molecular analysis in livestock animals. However, despite being widely used various animal species, on donkeys has been notably scarce. China, renowned for its rich history donkey husbandry, plays a pivotal role their conservation utilization. China boasts 24 distinct breeds, necessitating efforts, especially smaller breeds facing extinction threats. So far, omics approaches employed studies of milk meat, shedding light composition quality. Similarly, methods utilized to explore the basis associated with growth, meat production, quality traits. also unraveled critical microbiota health nutrition, gut microbiome revealing associations factors pregnancy, age, transportation stress, altitude. Furthermore, applications addressed issues, including infectious diseases reproductive problems. In addition, these provided insights into improvement efficiency research. conclusion, methodologies are essential advancing knowledge about donkeys, genetic diversity, across domains. is still infancy, there need continued enhance breeding, welfare beyond.

Various sensing methods have been developed for food spoilage research, but in practical applications, the accuracy of these is frequently constrained by limitation single-source data and challenges cross-validating multimodal data. To address issues, a new method combining multidimensional technology with deep learning-based dynamic fusion has developed, which can precisely monitor process beef. This study designs gas sensor based on surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) to directly analyze volatile organic compounds (VOCs) adsorbed MIL-101(Cr) amine-specific adsorption collection while also evaluating moisture distribution beef through low-field nuclear magnetic resonance (LF-NMR), providing recognition readings. By introducing self-attention mechanism SENet scaling features into learning model, system able adaptively fuse focus important sensors. After training, predict storage time under controlled conditions, an R2 value greater than 0.98. Furthermore, it provide accurate freshness assessments samples unknown conditions. Relative single-modality methods, improves from 90 over 97%. Overall, newly model effectively integrates information, enabling fast reliable monitoring freshness.

Tea (Camellia L.) falls into the family Theaceae, is a valuable commercial crop, and tea products made from its buds young leaves are favored by consumers all over world. The more common Thea plant Camellia sinensis (C. sinensis), but most important relative, taliensis taliensis), also utilized locals in area of cultivation to manufacture tea. In this investigation, C. (DL) (QJZ) were characterized terms their agronomic traits, physicochemical indices, metabolomics, transcriptomics. leaf DL larger than that QJZ; color DL’s yellowish-green, while QJZ’s green. densely velvety those QJZ. HPLC results indicated contents varied considerably between two samples, with having greater concentrations EGCG GABA QJZ, QJZ had remarkably higher C, CA, EGC DL. A total 2269 metabolites 362,190,414 genes positively identified, number DAMs DEGs being 1001 34,026, respectively. flavonoids, phenolic acids, alkaloid dramatically different group plants. Bioinformatics profiling revealed plants interacted each other involved metabolic pathways including “biosynthesis secondary metabolites”, amino acids”, cofactors”, “phenylpropanoid biosynthesis”, “flavonoid biosynthesis”. Overall, these provide statistical support for germplasm conservation production both sinensis.
