This work evaluated the efficiency of Subcritical Water Extraction (SWE) and Pressurized Natural Deep Eutectic Solvents (P-NaDESs) under different temperatures (100, 120, 140 160 °C) in obtaining pectin from Passion Fruit Rinds (PFR) its residual biomass (PFR - UAPLE), compare results with those Conventional (CE). The highest yields, 19.1 27.6 %, were achieved using P-NaDES (Citric Acid:Glucose:Water) at 120 °C for PFR PFR-UAPLE, respectively. Regarding Degree Esterification (DE), obtained SWE CE had DE below 50 while Acid: Glucose:Water), was above %. Higher Molecular Weights (MW) (98 81 kDa) compared to PFR-UAPLE CE. Galacturonic acid most abundant (74 78 %) monosaccharide by SWE. In terms morphology, water extraction provided more uniform textures, whereas acidified mixtures led heterogeneous surfaces. Overall, comparing P-NaDES, pectins differed monomeric composition, MW DE. These indicate that both methods can have applications depending on their structural characteristics.

Tartary buckwheat sprout is commonly consumed as salads and healthy vegetables, which rich in pectic polysaccharides. Nevertheless, the knowledge about polysaccharides extracted from sprouts (TBSP) are still limited. To facilitate potential applications of TBSP fortified ingredients or foods, impacts conventional hot water extraction (CHW), deep eutectic solvent (DES)-assisted (DEE), high pressure-assisted DES (HPDEE) on their structural biological properties were evaluated. Compared with CHW method, our findings revealed that both DEE HPDEE methods could obviously promoted yields regulated properties, resulting improvement functions. This article presents a comprehensive overview of recent advancements in natural product extraction, focusing on the evolution from deep eutectic solvents (DESs) to systems (DESys) for extraction. DESs, known their environmentally friendly properties, have become crucial extracting various products plants, including micromolecules, lignin, and polysaccharides. Deep eutectic solvent (DES) and hot-water extraction (HWE) methods were utilized to extract polysaccharides from Polygonatum sibiricum, referred as DPsP WPsP, respectively. The extracted purified using the Superdex-200 dextran gel purification system, resulting in three components for each type of polysaccharide. structures these characterized. molecular weight analysis revealed that had slightly larger weights compared with DPsP-A showing a higher dispersity index broader distribution. main monosaccharide both WPsP mannose glucose, while exhibited greater variety sugar WPsP. FTIR demonstrated characteristic polysaccharide absorption peaks all six PSP components, predominance acidic pyranose sugars. NMR presence sugars, including rhamnose aldehyde acids, DPsP-B WPsP-A. primarily β-type glycosidic linkages, WPsP-A predominantly displayed α-type smaller fraction being β-type. These findings indicated differences composition structure between PSPs different methods. Overall, this study provided experimental evidence future research on structure–function relationship PSPs.

Tartary buckwheat green leaves are considered to be among the most important by-products in industry. Although abundant pectic polysaccharides, their potential applications food industry quite scarce. Therefore, promote as functional or fortified ingredients, both deep-eutectic-solvent-assisted extraction (DESE) and high-pressure-assisted deep eutectic solvent (HPDEE) were used efficiently selectively extract polysaccharides from (TBP). The results revealed that DESE HPDEE techniques not only improved efficiency of TBP but also regulated its structural properties beneficial effects. primary chemical structures extracted using different methods stable overall, mainly consisting homogalacturonan rhamnogalacturonan-I (RG-I) regions. However, could RG-I-enriched TBP, proportion RG-I region obviously improved. Additionally, improve antioxidant anti-glycosylation effects by increasing free uronic acids content bound polyphenolics reducing molecular weight. Moreover, partially intensify immunostimulatory effect region. These findings suggest DES-based techniques, especially method, can promising for efficient selective TBP.

Due to the difficulty in obtaining highly branched rhamnogalacturonan-I (RG-I) type pectin, relationship between extent of RG-I branching (EB) pectin and prebiotic/immunomodulatory activity has not been systematically investigated. Moreover, it is only possible establish a structure–activity using that purified accurately characterized. In this study, homogeneous (LBP-P4, final product) with dual proliferative effects on Bifidobacterium macrophage was effectively for first time enzyme hydrolysis combined ultrafiltration. The content EB LBP-P4 reached 97.32 77.12, respectively.
