Abstract With the efforts of United Nations, environmental sustainability is becoming subject countries. Policymakers and researchers closely follow dimensions Sustainable Development Goals. This study offers a new perspective for European Union economies by directly targeting SDG 9 considers policies in selecting variables. To be more precise, this probes effects economic growth, trade openness, renewable energy, human capital, competitive industrial performance on load capacity factor EU countries over period 1995–2018. uses CUP‐FM CUP‐BC approaches due to cross‐sectional dependence heterogeneity. In addition, does not ignore possible structural breaks. As result empirical analysis, while competitiveness worsen quality, energy capital contribute sustainability. Based panel data results, still rely fossil fuels maintain industry. The EU, which has 2030 2050 targets, can eliminate disadvantages expanding quality‐enhancing feature capital. Moreover, provides SDG‐oriented policy recommendations

This study explores the interplay among economic growth, financial globalization, urbanization, fossil fuel consumption, and renewable energy usage their combined impact on load capacity factor in Mexico. research employs as a unique measure of ecological health, facilitating comprehensive ecosystem assessment by sequentially evaluating biocapacity effects. Using time series data spanning from 1971 to 2018, this Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) method analyze both long-term short-term dynamics cointegration. The findings reveal that usage, urbanization reduce Mexico’s factor, thereby diminishing environmental quality. In contrast, adoption sources influence globalization exhibit positive effects over long short term. These outcomes remain consistent even when compared with alternative estimation techniques, including dynamic ordinary least squares (DOLS), fully modified (FMOLS), canonical cointegrating regression (CCR). As priority, Mexican policymakers should accelerate transition sources, encourage sustainable urban development, foster more ecologically conscious agenda. Furthermore, promoting greener technologies can enhance mitigate degradation. Ultimately, Mexico establish an environment conducive expanding investments encouraging cross-border investments, enabling global trade services, cultivating greater integration capital markets.

Renewable energy, energy efficiency, and nuclear research development (RER, EER, NER) budgets are immensely important to fulfill sustainable goals 7, 9, 13, by accelerating innovation, transition, climate control. The literature on the drivers of load capacity factor (LCF), a recently developed ecological quality measure, is mounting; however, roles investments in LCF largely unknown. Accordingly, this study assesses impacts RER, NER, financial globalization (FIG) using data from 1974 2018 for Germany. Advanced reliable time series tests (Augmented ARDL, DOLS, Fourier causality) adopted analyze cointegration, long-run impacts, causal connections. outcomes unveil that both green efficiency R&D promote enhancing quality. However, positive impact NER found be weaker than RER EER. FIG curbs degradation expanding LCF. Additionally, U-shaped connection between economic growth (ECG) confirms curve. Therefore, policymakers should focus EER preserve environment growth.

The concern that over-depleting natural resources (NAT) may somehow be costly for environmental quality is a recurrent topic in empirical analysis. However, the literature has predominantly focused on studying effects of increases NAT use environment, ignoring potential non-linear interactions. current study seeks to expand previous by examining ramifications Russia, home one world's richest resource reserves. In this regard, adopting load capacity factor (LCF) as an indicator, examines how positive and negative changes affect country's well-being within framework N-ARDL model 1992–2021. This uses artificial intelligence unit root asymmetric Fourier causality approach robustness Empirical evidence suggests shocks have deleterious influence LCF, while contribute well-being. Nonetheless, long-term shock decreases LCF greater amount than it. results also demonstrate 'U-shaped' connection between income growth ecological well-being, confirming validity LCC hypothesis. Furthermore, outcomes reveal renewable energy consumption human capital upgrade quality. Therefore, Russian policymakers should focus SDG 7, 12, 13 targets, which refer substantially increasing primary secondary education, share green total mix, effective management utilization.

ABSTRACTThis research aims to expand the existing literature by bringing a new perspective China's environmental quality. Climate change is gradually rising to a level that portends an existential threat humanity. Nevertheless, environmental modellers, particularly in South Africa, still rely on restrictive quality metrics for policy insights. Here, comprehensive metric (load capacity factor [LCF]) captures both the demand and supply sides of qualities was activated. With dataset (1970–2018), estimates autoregressive distributive lag quantile-ARDL underscored varied effects selected factors LCF. It unravelled green-technology significantly improved LCF only at upper quantile but remained ineffective afterwards. Notably, substantially some quantiles following transition clean energy. Resource rents promoted partially middle towards lower distributions. Economic growth within quantiles, whereas it minimised quantiles. We have provided relevant insights therein.
