Abstract Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, teachers globally transitioned to distance learning, presenting significant challenges, particularly in developing countries. In that sense, study investigates usefulness and satisfaction (US) of learning (DL) among accounting students Serbian public universities during pandemic. The research focuses on three key factors affecting perceived US derived from existing literature, including teaching process quality (TPQ), technical qualities platforms (TQ), compatibility with social pandemic conditions (CSPC). developed theoretical model is predominantly based user model. Data 373 surveyed students, gathered through a validated questionnaire, underwent analysis using partial least squares structural equation (PLS-SEM). Results reveal CSPC TPQ significantly impact US, whereas TQ has minor statistically insignificant effect. R 2 value indicates these constructs explain portion variance for moderate effects small effect TQ, indicated by f values. Moreover, found be predictive, according Q value. Besides implications, suggests important practical implications university management, emphasizing regular student surveys, continuous improvement DL systems, effective teacher training as vital measures enhancing quality. Improving also impacts economy fostering workforce development, digital transformation, stimulating telecommunication industry growth, driving information sector attracting investment innovation, boosting global competitiveness, promoting lifelong learning.

Design/methodology/approach A quantitative research approach employing a web-based questionnaire was applied, empirical data were gathered 329 potential current users in accounting auditing profession Jordan. The analytical based structural equation modeling (SEM) using AMOS 25.0. Findings experimental findings path confirmed that performance expectancy (PE), social influence (SI), transparency (BT) efficiency (BE) significantly individuals’ behavioral intention (BI) toward use Blockchain-based systems helped explain (0.67) variance. Also, BE has positive significant PE. Whereas, contrast what is anticipated, effort (EE) BI not supported. Additionally, users’ intentions found affect actual (AU) (0.69) outcome variables proposed this study: knowledge acquisition (KACQ) user satisfaction (USAT) influenced by AU technology. Practical implications study outlines practical for government, policymakers, business leaders service providers aiming exploit advantages technology (BCT) context. Originality/value To best authors’ knowledge, one few studies offer an evidence-based perspective discussions effect disruptive automated information communication technologies (ICTs), profession. It applies innovative analysis through integration UTAUT, contextual factors: BT BE, besides two KACQ USAT within theoretical model. extends complements academic literature technology/information acceptance providing novel insights into views.

During the peak of COVID-19 pandemic, nearly all educational institutions globally had to eventually embrace maneuver transferring 100% online learning as a new routine for different curricula. Although many students in developing countries such Kenya are only experiencing exclusive approach first time, research on students' experience and satisfaction with COVID-19-imposed is largely lacking. Thus, this study examined effect online-learning experiences setting pandemic Kenya. The mediating role preference relationship between was also examined.A web-based survey involving 501 respondents analyzed using IBM® SPSS® AMOS software platforms. A structural equation model (SEM) used analyze relationships. Results showed that 80% participants indicated their in-person against 20% learning. Students' satisfaction-SS significant positive correlation classroom perceived quality-OCPQ, acquisition self-confidence-ASC, teaching performance engagement-TPE, learning-POL but negative internet access cost-IAC. Moreover, while POL positively correlated OCPQ, ASC, TPE, it negatively IAC. Both main mediation provided good fit confirmed these relationships. Student played satisfaction. Analyzing lecturers' and students' satisfaction with using e-learning is important to improve the teaching-learning processes. The existing approaches have been widely employing machine learning algorithms, usage-based, System Usability Scale (SUS) metrics based on users' opinions, activities, usability testing, respectively. However, usage-based SUS fail cover opinions about systems they involve manual features engineering. Whereas, classifiers do not analyze activities usability. Toward this end, we propose a model that employs CNN BiLSTM algorithms concatenate extracted from opinions. proposed coined as E-learning Users' Satisfaction Detection (El-USD). Experimental results suggest there significant correlation between analysis by achieving an average r = 0.778. evaluation further our approach can accurately.

This study explores how Thai university instructors adjusted their use of technology before and after the COVID-19 pandemic. It aims to examine technological tools that used during pandemic, identify which remained in as teaching returned in-person hybrid formats, investigate factors influencing adoption, discontinuation, or continued use. Semi-structured interviews with eight from various universities provided detailed insights into decisions about adopting discontinuing certain technologies. The findings indicated significant shifts usage: like randomizer apps, essential remote learning, were abandoned when face-to-face classes resumed. Conversely, Zoom PowerPoint widely both settings due versatility. platforms such Google Meet Microsoft Teams decreased virtual interactions declined. Tools enhance effectiveness, Quillbot ChatGPT, adopted for benefits content delivery student interaction. Design Canva saw increased usage creating engaging visual content. Analysis using acceptance model revealed perceived usefulness tools, instructors’ attitudes towards technology, institutional support significantly influenced these trends. shift models also supported adaptable effective tools. These results highlight importance understanding preferences challenges help educational institutions develop targeted professional development programs. Properly aligning integration needs can quality engagement a post-pandemic landscape.
