In the era of modernization, urban green spaces (UGSs) are attracting increasing attention in smart city (SC) development. There is currently a paucity UGSs, and their importance has become crucial enhancing life expectancy health. To meet people’s demands, scientists busy designing cities under flagship programs for transformation. UGSs relevant analysis investigation improved lifestyles. The scarcity can have many social physical impacts. presence proposed to improve residents’ Semi-structured interviews were conducted with residents, officials government experts inform development further. result surveys analyzed using MAXQDA software, which presents SC satisfaction. results show an urgent requirement larger enhance security economic opportunities within environments. deployment USGs particularly fully lifestyles present research aligned World Health Organization (WHO) standards identify scope UGS initiatives different parts Graz, Austria, recommendations improving quality future planning provided. conclude that valid alternative air quality, measurable substantial pollution changes even space-constrained sites.

The accessibility and utilization of Urban Green Spaces (UGSs) play a crucial role in enhancing the health benefits overall quality life for urban residents. However, it is evident that not just single factor, but rather multitude factors, influence use UGSs. Consequently, this study aims to systematically review determinants UGSs, highlighting their complex interrelations through socio-ecological framework. By conducting literature across two major databases, Scopus Web Science (WOS), total 163 articles published between 1988 January 31, 2024, were included study. analysis provides an overview reviewed studies, focusing on aspects such as publication year, geographical distribution, research designs, classifications sampling techniques, sample populations, assessment measures. Furthermore, identifies key affecting individuals' including personal/individual, socio-cultural, physical/environmental, institutional, transport, psychological factors. Based these findings, conceptual framework proposed better understand dynamics UGS use. This designed aid planners designers improving equalizing distribution UGSs meet diverse needs community comprehensively serves foundational guide future research.

Abstract Sweeping changes in park visitation have accompanied the Covid-19 pandemic. In countries where governments imposed strict lockdowns during first wave, declined cities. The benefits of visiting urban green spaces on people’s mental and physical health well-being are generally acknowledged; many people confinement reported increasing issues. Therefore, based lessons learned from pandemic’s parks other remained open most subsequent pandemic phases. Furthermore, studies an overall increase after wave been removed. This study aims to investigate trends Hungary a dataset 28 million location data points approximately 666,000 distinct mobile devices collected 1884 191 settlements between June 1, 2019, May 31, 2021. Findings demonstrate that increased inter-wave period 2020, compared pre-pandemic decreased Waves 2–3 2021, Wave 1 2020.

Abstract Purpose of Review Urban green spaces provide benefits for human health and well-being, among other properties, thanks to their ability attenuate environmental pollutants. The sound environment is not healthy in most cities, this situation has changed recent decades. These are potential quiet areas with good acoustic quality if they designed planned properly from a multidisciplinary perspective. Although the mitigating effects infrastructure have been extensively studied, application very limited. objective study analyze those characteristics that contribute soundscape and, turn, would give them areas, users, physical environment. Increasing land use and cover change climate have considerable impacts on urban green spaces their ecosystem services. These result in a loss of space particularly weaken the resilience populations. Landsat imagery data from 1990 to 2020 were used track spatio-temporal dynamics sprawl its influence Bamako Sikasso Mali. Furthermore, survey local stakeholders was conducted capture perceptions status space. The results use/land analysis cities between showed that most vegetation classes, mainly spaces, been converted into built-up bare both during last 30 years. In Bamako, has risen 5421 hectares 13,350 2020, Sikasso, 929 2213 2020. Respondents mentioned street trees as prevalent type (20% respondents 24% Sikasso). addition, majority perceived having good or moderate status. This study recommends improving number quality which are crucial for provision services against change.
