Recently, there has been a burgeoning fascination with the influence of urban green spaces (UGS) on physical activity (PA) and health. This interest accompanied by mounting body evidence that establishes connection between UGS residents’ PA levels. Numerous studies have conducted to investigate significance generally agreed their However, is still considerable variation in viewpoints regarding intermediate factors contributing this association. The primary objective study was potential correlation different qualitative PA. involved collection data from four parks located Edinburgh. Four trained observers utilised Environmental Assessment Public Recreational Spaces (EARPS Mini) tool code various environmental characteristics. Additionally, Method for Observing Physical Activity Wellbeing (MOHAWk) observation employed instances on-site incivility characteristics behaviours residents engaging activities. results show facilities environment, area socioeconomic status (SES) positively affect type level PA, as well attentiveness environment interactions each other. To enhance applicability analytical model in demand travel characteristic studies, a dataset established based behavioral characteristics individuals. Resistance values evaluation indicators were selected for this purpose. We summarized preferences proposed corresponding accessibility optimization strategies. Through experimental results, we believe that setting goal 10-min walk 500-m to access parks green spaces is reasonable. Additionally, service area ratio should exceed 90% ensure equitable ecological services population. also found connecting extending linear are significant importance improving space accessibility, because have more entrances exits than dot spaces.

Traditional heat health warning systems focus on severe and extreme events at the district or regional level, often overlooking localized risk protective factors such as healthcare access urban green spaces. This approach considers less varying impacts of within cities, including phenomenon Urban Heat Islands (UHIs) diverse needs different populations. To address these shortcomings, a need for development an Health Warning Information System (UHHWIS) that operates framework Action Plans is needed. Such system integrates national acute warnings with city-specific assessments UHI effects other relevant factors. Despite their importance, effective models to allocate these are often overlooked, particularly developing countries. This study utilises GIS-based Multi-Criteria Analysis Analytical Hierarchy Process recommend optimal locations for space interventions Lilongwe City, Malawi, based on nine factors: population density, proximity roads, slope, Digital Elevation Model (DEM), Normalized Difference Vegetative Index (NDVI), land cover, existing space, water bodies, nitrogen dioxide concentration. The results show that 0.57% (23,776 hectares) city is highly suitable while 14.50% (604,596 unsuitable interventions, where density was most determining factor. suitability varied across city, with areas predominantly located southern part. highlights importance informed decision-making urban planning, setting standard equitable access sustainable development.

E tanulmány célja a magyarországi klímasérülékenység területi különbségeinek feltárása. A klímakitettséget ábrázoló indikátorai egybevágnak közelmúlt trendjeivel. A felhasznált forgatókönyvek az ország egész területére további intenzív hőmérsékletnövekedést vetítenek előre. Ezzel szemben csapadék változása közelmúltban jövőben is jóval differenciáltabb mintázatot mutat: keleti, északkeleti harmadában számottevő csökkenéssel, nyugati, délnyugati részében akár növekedéssel lehet számolni. hőmérséklet- csapadékváltozás trendjeinek megfelelően aszálykitettség várható jelentős térbeli differenciát mutat, Alföld közepének kiemelkedő kitettségével. Az érzékenység adaptációs felhasználásával fnomítottuk egyes komponensek szerinti mintázatát. komponens vizsgált szerint erősen klímasérülékeny területek átfedést mutatnak. Kiemelendő Dél- Közép-Alföld sérülékenysége, nagyfokú gyenge alkalmazkodóképesség miatt Északi-középhegység településcsoportjainak klímasérülékenysége. Külön kiemelendő Balaton környezete, ahol lakossági mezőgazdasági mellett turizmusból eredő kockázatot jelent.

This study develops a spatial decision support framework optimal space allocation Mzuzu City, Malawi, employing an integrated approach of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Multi-Criteria Analysis, and Analytical Hierarchy Process. Eight environmental socio-spatial parameters were analysed: population density, road network proximity, topographic gradient, elevation, vegetation indices, land use patterns, hydrological features, nitrogen dioxide concentrations. The results indicate that the area's 6.97% (1,099.65 ha) demonstrates high suitability interventions, while 26.48% (4,178.68 is deemed unsuitable. Population density emerged primary determinant, with weight coefficient 0.379.
