This paper demonstrates a comprehensive assessment of bibliometric analysis published research on the global impact urbanization environmental consequences. Scopus database was used to collect data ecosystem from 2000-2023 and scrutinizes progression publications, keyword analysis, co-citation authors, citation documents, co-authorship most efficient influential countries, institutions. A total 4322 papers (journals) were during period (2000-2023). study carried out with Vos Viewer software. The study's findings demonstrate that number publications has continuously increased between 2000 2023. In 2020 2022, there 396 635 respectively. top three journals in terms citations are Remote Sensing Environment (2415 citations), Ecological Economics (1456 PLoS (1410). Citizen science is rising and expanding as an approach to data collection, enabling the acquisition of through voluntary involvement citizens in scientific activities.
