The great demand for oil shale resource development and the corresponding threats to environment have resulted in urgent need assess impact of situ mining on environment. A comprehensive investigation regarding the hygrothermal behavior of a constructive solution containing phase change materials (PCMs) was performed on full-scale test cell, divided into two similar compartments. This involved monitoring (indoor air temperature) compartments, in which one had PCM incorporated floor mortar. This study introduces a novel, low-cost, non-contact measurement system for heat flux estimation based on an enhanced thermometric method. The customized was designed and assembled to implement non-contact, indirect approach assessment. Developed as affordable alternative conventional contact-based techniques, it is suitable historical buildings, where invasive sensors could compromise structural integrity. integrates real-time data acquisition, remote access via web-based interface, automated processing, enhancing both usability efficiency. Laboratory tests were conducted evaluate its performance, with results compared against from widely used flow plates air/surface temperature sensors. showed good agreement between the proposed method reference data. Small differences observed values measured by air (0.10 °C average), well contact surface (0.12 average). Finally, percentage variations −6% −5% in terms of fluxes confirmed reliability approach. Windows in new buildings Korea are equipped with double or triple glazing, a low-E coating, and gas injection between the panes of glass, accordance regulations for reinforced insulation windows. However, these windows have certain issues, such as thermal transmittance variations injected leakage. In this study, we investigated current status double-glazed filled argon analyzed actual deterioration degree terms performance via field experiments simulations. Accordingly, manufactured 26-millimeter window test specimen conducted tests KS F 2278 standard. The results indicated that decreased by 10.9% when filling rate was reduced from 95% to 0%. simulation showed were insulated using only glazing 22.6% decrease rate; also 13.6%. A comprehensive analysis surveys simulations predicted 92% probability would be below 65% two years after completion, addition ~4.3% performance.
