Zeolites are a class of porous aluminosilicates possessing high surface area, good hydrothermal stability, strong sorption, and ion-exchanging potential, which frequently serve as efficient catalytic materials. The composites integrate zeolite with alternative substances like metal oxides or carbon-based materials steadily outperform individual constituents. Recently, the application zeolite-based in field photocatalytic oxidation electrocatalytic oxidation/reduction, is mainly focused on pollution treatment sewage air, have garnered significant attention. Several synthesis strategies for including post-treatment situ methods explicated. Meanwhile, multifarious types photoelectric also summarized. Finally, we highlight advancements improving performance organic pollutants wastewater reduction CO2 organics.

The increasing presence of pollutants, including pharmaceuticals and pesticides, in water resources necessitates the development effective remediation technologies. Zeolites are promising agents for pollutant removal due to their high surface area, ion-exchange capacity, natural abundance, diverse tailorable porous structures. This review focuses on efficient application modified zeolites mesoporous materials as photocatalysts adsorbents removing contaminants from bodies. adsorption photodegradation pesticides selected non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs antibiotics various reveal optimal degradation conditions each pollutant. In most reported studies, higher SiO2/Al2O3 ratio exhibited improved adsorption, thus activities, increased hydrophobicity lower negative charge. For example, SBA-15 demonstrated efficiency diclofenac, ibuprofen, ketoprofen acidic conditions. Metal doped into zeolite framework was found be a very active catalyst organic pharmaceuticals, industrial wastes. It is shown that photocatalytic activity depends zeolite-type, metal dopant, content, pore structure, energy irradiation source. Faujasite-type Y combined with ozone achieved up 95% micropollutant degradation. Bentonite cellulosic biopolymers effectively removed such atrazine chlorpyrifos, while titanium and/or silver-doped showed strong catalytic degrading carbamates, highlighting environmental potential.

The presence of organic and inorganic contaminants such as pesticides, antibiotics, dyes, heavy metals poses a risk to human the environment therefore needs be removed. combination natural zeolites magnetic nanoparticles is employed an excellent adsorbent for these pollutants removal from water. Magnetic are synthesized by incorporating nanoparticles, iron oxides or ferrites, into zeolite framework. Various techniques, including co-precipitation, impregnation, hydrothermal synthesis, have been researchers create necessary composites them removing reducing recalcitrant present in water aqueous solutions. shown great promise One its best sides ability separate reuse materials easily. This review emphasizes effective remediation demonstrates potential treatment. can used especially regions where treatment technologies not yet met address waterborne disease issues. Zeolites are aluminosilicates with a lattice structure consisting of tetrahedral AlO4 and SiO4 molecules. Due to the zeolites, there many areas use from agriculture industry studies continue in these areas. In addition, they used as herbicides, pesticides, plant nutrient carriers because their adsorption properties. One main issues that is focused zeolite, which loaded nutrients, spreads its content soil over time slow release mechanism. Even when zeolite mixed directly soil, it affects nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium soil. if heavy metal pollution also collects them. Additionally, result research studies, seen effective reducing negative effects salinity drought stress on plants. have positive agricultural field. this review, field has been investigated multifaceted way, results compiled.
