This systematic review examines four themes of device-based remote monitoring (DRM): technology, patient and support, integration DRM into clinical care, engagement, their impact on hospital service use. We included randomized controlled trials (RCTs) until 2024 comparing use in with usual care. Hospital decreased 72% the 116 RCTs. Non-implantable devices were most commonly used to measure data, but showed a lower decrease than implanted or mobile (69% vs 89% 76%). Providing 24/7 support for patients led (81% studies). replacing involving designated healthcare providers, patient-performed data transmission greater has potential further reduce additional factors such as sufficient automated processes, optimized care redesign.

Telemedicine in primary health care is expected to address many of the issues currently challenging service delivery. However, impact and effect will depend on who use new technology. The objective study was investigate differences between users non-users telemedicine integrated into traditional office-based care. Quantitative registry-based population two regions southeast part Sweden (n = 73,486), comparing with across variables sex, age, socioeconomic status (SES), morbidity seeking behaviour (HSB). Two periods six months were used (September 2019-February 2020 for Region Östergötland, September 2021-February 2022 Kalmar County) collect user data. A reference period 36 2016-August 2019) used, data HSB. Users more often women under age 60 had higher (measured as resource utilisation) than (p < .001). In contrast, no statistically significant seen groups regarding SES, measured Care Need Index (CNI). Regarding HSB, a proxy measure (health record entries) showed entries non-users. Our findings suggest that are likely be below 60. Likewise, also tend have greater need services compared non-users, they seek No SES found.

Establishing proximity care pathways, including the digitalization of healthcare, is valuable for sustainable management Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) and Patient-Centered Care (PCC) promotion. However, new safety concerns, particularly in therapy management, may arise. The Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR) "ProSafe" aims at (i) explore stakeholders' perspectives on medication (ii) analyze which determinants affect community's perspective. A survey was co-developed with a Patient Safety Council (PSC) support pharmaceutical company. purposeful sampling strategy implemented to recruit individuals aged 18 older. Data were collected using dedicated online platform; differences between patients' healthy people's explored. Preliminary multiple regression analyses performed examine how sociodemographic factors, clinical data level outcomes linear probit models, accounting nature each outcome variable. models combined into equations Conditional Mixed Process (CMP) approach. 417 completed (81.0% affected by disease). positive attitude towards shifting administration from hospital home setting observed even if significantly higher proportion patients compared raised concerns regarding potential negative impact doctor-patient relationship (47.0% vs. 32.9%, p < 0.01). Purpose The adoption of digital technology has not been able to overcome the problem patient healthcare service quality in Indonesian hospitals, especially lower middle-class hospitals that are widely distributed regions, because its utilization well coordinated. This research explores influence Digital Adoption Capability (DAC) on Hospital Performance (HP) for these problems. Design/methodology/approach used a quantitative methodology design approach. Survey data were collected from 285 leaders class C and D throughout Indonesia, who selected at simple random March August 2023. Data analysis was carried out using structural equation modeling method with help LISREL version 8.80 software. Findings found positive significant DAC HP. Leadership (DL) plays an important role performance, both directly indirectly. ICT Literacy (ICT) Patient-Centric (PC) do have direct HP but provide results through DAC. also Environmental Dynamism (ED) factors significantly drive need improve performance adoption. Practical implications Providing insight into increasing connect workers patients produce safe services ever-changing environmental condition.
