Qiwei Baizhu Powder (QWBZP) has been proven effective in treating antibiotic-associated diarrhea (AAD), and the mechanism is associated with regulating gut microbiota. However, role of bioactive compounds QWBZP microbiota still unclear. In this study, 24 mice were divided into a normal control group (N), model (R), decoction (TW), QWBZP-TG (TG). AAD mouse models established by mixed antibiotic administration. After modeling, TW TG treated QWBZP-TG, respectively. Mice N R gavaged sterile water. 16S rRNA gene sequencing was used to investigate changes mucosa-associated (MAM) small intestine mice. Moreover, levels diamine oxidase (DAO), D-Lactate, secretory immunoglobulin A (sIgA), interleukin 6 (IL-6), IL-10, tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) detected using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) kits. The results showed that significantly altered diversity, structure, abundance MAM exerted stronger suppression effect on Escherichia Clostridium compared decoction. Meanwhile, downregulated Lactobacillus , which elicited an opposite Prevotella signature bacteria responded intervention. Furthermore, both decreased DAO, sIgA, IL-6, TNF-α glycosides help ameliorate symptoms inhibiting proliferation diarrhea-associated bacteria, reducing inflammation immunity.

Young rabbits are sensitive to surrounding changes and conditioned pathogens in intestine which might result slow inflammation diarrhea after microbial invasion. Traditional medicine herbs could provide efficacious treatment on infection inflammation. The present research designed an Acanthopanax senticosus (ACS) formula consisted of five types Chinese including (Rupr & Maxim) Harms (Ciwujia Chinese), Astragalus membranceus (Fisch) Bge (Huangqi Indigo naturalis (Qingdai Houttuynia cordata Thunb (Yuxingcao Glycyrrhizae radix et Rhizoma (Gancao Chinese). effects ACS decoction supplement were investigated via determination cytokines growth performances young rabbits, the flora intestinal digesta from six fragments further explored using 16S rRNA gene sequencing technology. Compared control group, supplied with different doses possessed lower death rates, together IL-10 concentration, while declined IL-1β IL-12 levels inflammatory factor expressions tissues. Additionally, addition changed diversity each segments intestine. Functional prediction abundances genera enriched seven KEGG immunity pathways. Moreover, strong correlations determined between abundance bacteria interleukins contents, predictive immune signaling abundances, respectively. Especially, exhibited anti-inflammation decreasing Bacteroides , Clostridia_vadinBB60_group NK4A214_group dgA_11_gut_group rabbits. In conclusion, dietary exerted diarrhea-reducing effects, improved homeostasis by modulating

Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is a chronic, relapsing inflammatory disorder of the intestine, frequently complicated by intestinal fibrosis. As fibrosis progresses, it can result in luminal stricture and compromised function, significantly diminishing patients' quality life. Emerging evidence suggests that gut microbiota their metabolites contribute to pathogenesis IBD-associated influencing inflammation modulating immune responses. This review systematically explores mechanistic link between IBD evaluates therapeutic potential traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) interventions. Relevant studies were retrieved from PubMed, Web Science, Embase, Scopus, CNKI, Wanfang, VIP databases. Findings indicate TCM, including herbal prescriptions bioactive constituents, modulate composition microbial metabolites, ultimately alleviating through anti-inflammatory, immunemodulatory, anti-fibrotic mechanisms. These insights highlight TCM as promising strategy for targeting management

Intestinal microbiota and its metabolites are involved in many physiological processes of the human body play a vital role maintaining health. The occurrence kidney disease can cause intestinal imbalance, resulting diarrhea. change content aggravate renal function injury, which has bidirectional regulating effect. theory renal-intestinal axis further clarified that impaired is related to imbalance microorganisms, barrier accumulation toxin products. Because unique therapeutic advantages, Traditional Chinese Medicine treat diarrhea by enhancing growth beneficial bacteria, inhibiting pathogenic bacteria immune regulation, slow down continuous deterioration disease. This paper focuses on relationship between diarrhea, influence treatment axis. It provides theoretical basis for regulate based nephrology-induced also new idea method Traitional

Recent studies have increasingly demonstrated that a multiplatform water environment combined with lard gavage is an effective method for establishing mouse model of diarrhea. However, the interactions between intestinal microorganisms and diarrhea, as well relationships among energy metabolism, fluid balance, gastrointestinal function in this model, remain poorly understood.

Objectives Many studies have confirmed that antibacterial agents can disrupt the human gut microbiota. In China, Tanreqing injection (TRQ) is a drug with activity widely used in treatment of respiratory infections. However, its specific influence on microbiota remains unclear. This study aimed to investigate effect TRQ healthy volunteers. Methods Twelve adults received 20 ml intravenously daily for 7 consecutive days. At six timepoints (Pre, D1, D3, D5, D7 and follow-up visit) fecal samples were collected analyzed using 16S rRNA gene sequencing. Results Eleven people included analysis finally. did not significantly alter diversity or richness (Shannon Simpson Chao1 index) during intervention. Gut microbial structure was stable (weighted unweighted Unifrac). Using machine learning method based PLS-DA analysis, separation trend at genus level found, returning baseline two days after discontinuation. The abundance major fluctuated compared prior treatment, including an increase unclassified_f_Enterobacteriaceae (13.0611%), decrease Bifidobacterium Escherichia-Shigella (6.887%, 10.487%). Functional prediction reveal any significant difference. Conclusions Our showed short-term use conventional doses may cause perturbations adults. finding provides some useful information safe Clinical trial registration https://www.medicalresearch.org.cn/ , identifier MR-31-24-014367.
