The southeastern region of Tibet, which serves as the primary concentration area for marine-type glaciers, has fostered a multitude glacial lakes that are highly sensitive to global climate change. Glacial play crucial role in regulating freshwater ecosystems region, but they also pose significant threat local infrastructure and populations due flooding caused by lake outbursts. Currently, limited amount research focused on monitoring analysis Tibet. Using Google Earth Engine (GEE) data conjunction with meteorological data, this study examined variation characteristics Tibet from 1993 2023. is subjected segmentation extraction boundaries via FCN model. According findings, 2023, projected contain 3,877 lakes, encompassing an approximately 395.74 ± 22.72 km2. distribution follows pattern characterized relatively high southern low northern region. areas less than 0.1 km2 accounted 94.24%, whereas those exceeding 3.0 experienced least regional elevation using natural method reveals predominantly distributed within altitude range 4442 ~ 4909 m. fluctuations annual mean precipitation average temperature have decreased since 2008, while growth trajectories both number gradually stabilized. However, given backdrop slight increase gradual temperature, proliferation accelerate Nyingchi City's eastern western regions.
