Background: Occupational stress, particularly among prehospital emergency nurses, significantly impacts health outcomes and job performance. Factors such as high demands, workplace violence, inadequate training contribute to elevated stress levels, affecting mental employee retention. Methods: A systematic review was conducted using databases including PubMed, WOS, Enfispo, Cochrane, LILACS 2022. The search strategy focused on keywords related "occupational stress" in nursing, specifically targeting care settings. total of 14 studies were analyzed categorize stressors protective factors nurses. Results: identified five primary categories stressors: management-related, patient care, interpersonal dynamics, environmental conditions, personal factors. Objective: To assess personal and work-related factors influencing the stress levels of nurses during prehospital care. Extreme workers are constantly exposed to negative impact in the course of their work. Over time, excessive stress and traumatic events can cause symptoms post-traumatic disorder (PTSD). As a result, employees unable fully function as specialists, which manifests destructive coping strategies. The aim study involves determining PTSD related strategies extreme workers.
