Abstract Agriculture is one of the major sources global emissions that cause climate change while agricultural value added helps to boost economy in developing countries like China. Therefore, this study aims investigate long- and short-term influences added, economic growth (GDP), energy use on carbon dioxide (CO 2 ) The autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) method was used by using annual time series data from 1990 2021. empirical outcomes revealed a 1% increase would cut CO 1.37% long-run 0.65% short-run. However, found both GDP consumption have positive statistically significant effect emissions. Furthermore, an inverted U-shaped association between environmental pollution discovered spotting coefficient negative squared, which proved validity Kuznets curve (EKC) hypothesis. robustness ARDL verified fully modified ordinary least squares (FMOLS), dynamic (DOLS), canonical cointegration regression (CCR) approaches. This offers comprehensive set policy recommendations aimed at enhancing These suggestions focus promotion climate-smart agriculture, integration renewable production, adoption advanced technologies within systems. Implementing these measures contribute achievement China’s goal neutrality. Graphical

Geothermal energy is both a clean and sustainable source that contributes to economic growth (GDP) environmentally friendly, as it releases much less harmful greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions than fossil fuels. This study presents novel perspective by examining the dynamic impact of geothermal on GDP GHG in developing developed countries from 2000 2019. By employing Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) estimations, our demonstrates negative short-run but also proves be positive contributor long-run GDP, particularly countries. Additionally, unveils noteworthy discovery has effect levels country groups over long run, although coefficient lower These findings are robust confirmed through Fully Modified Ordinary Least Squares (FMOLS) Dynamic (DOLS) techniques. The ARDL justified Dumitrescu Hurlin (D-H) causality model, indicating existence unidirectional energy. Based this empirical evidence, we suggest policymakers support projects streamlined processes, incentives, ongoing policy reviews for environmental sustainability growth.

Global climate change triggered by the escalating carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions resulting from heightened economic expansion and consumption of energy represents foremost environmental concern in contemporary global context. China is accountable for nearly 27% total CO2 emissions, making it largest emitter worldwide. This study explores consequences outgrowth, fossil fuel, renewable utilization on China's CO2. The utilized an autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) model to analyze annual data 1965 2022. ARDL bounds test results indicate presence long-term cointegration among variables. empirical specify that a 1% growth fuels economy leads 4.97% 0.58% emissions. In short term, these increases amount 2.42% 1.21%, respectively. Conversely, enhancement could result reduction 1.39%, whereas would be 0.50%. proposes policy suggestions attainment sustainable development neutrality.

Abstract Tourism serves as a crucial means of funding national development and ensuring the sustainability local livelihoods in growing countries such Brazil. Nevertheless, accelerated growth tourism various nations might lead to significant environmental consequences due heightened energy consumption. This surge usage contributes exacerbation global warming through amplified release carbon dioxide (CO 2 ). In light increasingly evident impacts climate change on natural environment, multitude endeavors have been undertaken with aim attaining ecological sustainability. The objective this study is examine dynamic effects economic growth, consumption, emissions Brazil by analyzing time series data spanning from 1990 2019. stationarity was assessed application unit root tests, while an autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) approach employed analyze relationship between components, accounting for both long-term short-term dynamics. empirical results indicate that 1% rise tourist arrivals leads deterioration causing respective increase CO 1.37%, 1.06%, 0.57% near term, 0.72%, 0.62%, 0.16% long term. article presents policy ideas aimed at achieving neutrality increasing utilization renewable sources, simultaneously fostering sustainable enhance country’s economy. Abstract Uruguay has set a target of becoming carbon neutral by the year 2030, and this study looks into role that economic progress, renewable energy utilization, technological innovations, forest extent could play in reaching goal. The Dynamic Ordinary Least Squares (DOLS) technique was applied to examine time series data from 1990 2021. According outcomes DOLS estimation, one-percentage-point boost growth is associated with 1.16% increase CO 2 emissions. However, increasing use 1% related reduction emissions 0.73 percent over long run, as indicated coefficient being negative statistically significant. calculated long-run innovations significant, suggesting innovation causes 0.11% cut area notably which means expanding lessens 0.56%. empirical results show Uruguay's economy grows, so do its emissions, but country may get closer goal neutrality through growing energy, innovation, sustainable management. robustness verified utilizing fully modified least squares (FMOLS) canonical cointegrating regression (CCR) techniques.
