In slope stability analysis, identifying the critical slip surface has always been a complex challenge. This study proposes method to determine of heterogeneous slopes while accounting for anisotropy. is grounded in generalized soil anisotropic constitutive model and establishes global equilibrium framework. It integrates optimization techniques employs well-established Morgenstern-Price formulate objective function. The reliability, applicability, are demonstrated through comparative analysis with results two classical cases improved log-spiral limit method. Additionally, investigates impact anisotropy-related parameters on slopes, providing new insights into how anisotropy influences failure mechanisms.

When excavating tunnels and underground openings with the drill-and-blast method, minimizing excavation overbreak is vital, as it reduces costs associated stability, mucking, rock support. Overbreak in excavations not only causes safety concerns but also increases cost of construction completion time. This paper proposes a contour blasting design which parameters are optimized based on rock’s structural properties. Numerical modeling was used to identify possible damage zones change seismic load due blasting. The results were input for proposed low-brisance explosive. Experimental tests conducted at Akbakai mine, located Kazakhstan, performance examined. compared standard method. indicated that cross-section conventional method varied between 10.5 12.1 m2, indicating an 17 34%. However, suggested blasting, less than 13%. It concluded charging boreholes explosives effective reducing excessive explosive loads massif, can improve profitability mining operations.

A scientific and reasonable microseismic monitoring sensor network is crucial for the prevention control of rockmass instability disasters. In this study, three feasible layout schemes Sanshandao Gold Mine were proposed, comprehensively considering factors such as orebody orientation, tunnel stope distributions, blasting excavation areas, construction difficulty, maintenance costs. To evaluate validate effectiveness networks, layers seismic sources randomly generated within network. Four levels random errors added to calculated arrival time data, classical Geiger localization algorithm was used locating validation. The distribution area analyzed. results indicate that when data are accurate or error between 0% 2%, scheme 3 considered most suitable layout; 2% 10%, 2 optimal layout. These research can provide important theoretical technical guidance design systems in similar mines projects.
