Abstract Developing bio‐friendly and degradable Pickering emulsifiers as surfactants to replace traditional with bio‐toxicity is imperative in the food, coating, cosmetics, pharmaceutical industries. Nanocellulose chitin can be used directly an emulsifier prepare o / w emulsions. As concentration of nanoparticles increases, stability emulsion also overly large nanoparticle aspect ratio not conducive stabilization emulsion. In comparison, nanocellulose‐prepared has improved stability. Of these, nanocellulose prepared by DES a molar 3:1 LA:CC been shown have best when equilibrate oil/water mass 2/8. The Zeta potential −38.4 mV, size droplets most uniform. With mean droplet diameter 770 nm. This study had certain research significance reference value for development surfactants.

Abstract The rapid expansion of the global economy has led to a surge in energy demand, resulting significant environmental pollution and scarcity due concomitant increase greenhouse gas emissions. advancement deep eutectic solvents (DESs) introduced viable substitute for traditional processing methods, boasting numerous intrinsic benefits, such as superior eco‐compatibility, outstanding thermal stability, desirable electrochemical properties. Consequently, DESs have garnered attention from research community, demonstrating broad spectrum prospective applications variety fields instance energy, biomass degradation, materials synthesis, biomedicine. This review aims offer comprehensive methodical overview DESs, encompassing their historical development, classification, preparation methodologies, fundamental physicochemical Furthermore, this explores synthesis various functional examines multifunctional roles. Crucially, economic viability is thoroughly examined, including an assessment cost‐effectiveness market potential. Finally, concludes by outlining future directions development challenges that remain.
