As consumer awareness regarding health and nutrition continues to increase, there is a growing demand for fresh, nutritious fruits such as green grapes. However, the short storage life susceptibility of these spoilage lead significant commercial losses. Currently, plastic wrap method commonly used keep grapes but this packaging effect limited not environmentally friendly. Therefore, an urgent need explore sustainable effective preservation methods. In study, high-pressure microfluidization technique was employed prepare essential oil nanoemulsion with ratio Tween 80 clove 1:1, biopolymer-based film solution prepared using dual-modified tapioca starch chitosan loaded nanoemulsion. The development of green and easily regulated amphiphilic particles is crucial for advancing Pickering emulsion catalysis. In this study, lignin modified via sulfobutylation were employed as solid emulsifiers to support Pd nanoparticles (NPs), thereby enhancing the catalytic efficiency biphasic reactions. Sulfobutylation effectively adjusted hydrophilic–hydrophobic balance, resulting in controlled types droplet sizes. NPs loaded onto with a 50% ratio through situ reduction active functional groups, further stabilized by cross-linked network structure lignin. hydrogenation nitrobenzene, Lig-50S-0.6Pd catalyst exhibited superior activity compared traditional Pd/C catalysts, which attributed high retention sites increased interfacial area. This work underscores potential designing lignin-based developing emulsion-enhanced
