Abstract Achieving synergies in reducing pollution and carbon emissions has emerged as a crucial strategic goal the new development phase. To investigates whether digital economy(DE), novel dynamic energy this stage, can effectively contribute to reduction of pollutants emissions. Accordingly, study focuses on 265 cities China spanning from 2011 2019. The introduces concept efficiency synergistic management (SEPC). It utilizes an econometric model empirically examine effects ecomomy, along with its implementation path. findings reveal following: (1) impact DE SEPC exhibits noticeable non-linear pattern, resembling “U” shape. Moreover, significant spatial spillovers resulting nonlinearity are observed. (2) mechanism analysis indicates that influences by affecting framework, promoting green technology innovation, shaping industrial composition, influencing public concern for environment. (3) Heterogeneity suggests influence is more pronounced innovative cities, smart higher levels government intervention. This validates pivotal role advancing reduction. Furthermore, it serves valuable reference achieving dual objectives.

Purpose Although many researchers have studied the benefits of applications e-commerce, few examined relationship between e-commerce and its effects on household income distribution. This study explores development distribution in different regions China. Design/methodology/approach uses a two-way fixed effect model for empirical analysis based matched data from E-commerce Development Index China Family Panel Studies database. The instrumental variables method is used robustness testing. Findings research findings indicate following: (1) significantly reduces inequality among Chinese households. For every 10% increase development, gap shrinks by 2.38%, with reduction 2.97 0.47% urban rural areas, respectively. (2) due to more pronounced economically advanced regions. (3) eastern western has greater impact reducing than areas. In contrast, opposite observed central region. Background Public health emergencies have a lasting impact on country's economic and social development. However, commercial insurance can disperse these negative consequences reduce risk losses. Method Based the Chinese Household Tracking Survey Peking University Digital Inclusive Finance Index, this study employed difference-in-differences model to test of COVID-19 outbreak participation mechanism. Results The analysis showed that improved residents' perception, preference digital finance promoted their in insurance, endowment medical insurance. Conclusion Major public increase participation, but promotional effect rural low-income individuals is relatively limited. To tap into potential customers, financial institutions should focus vulnerable societal groups. This supplements relevant literature major participation.
