The application of digital technology offers new opportunities to promote the green transformation and upgrading agriculture. Farmers’ literacy, as a critical link between agricultural development, significantly influences their production decisions. Whether literacy serves an enabling factor driving farmers’ adoption technologies warrants further exploration. This paper uses entropy method measure levels employs Probit model for empirical analysis survey data from 643 farmers in Shandong Shaanxi provinces, examining how technologies. baseline regression result indicates that can increase A mechanism reveals enhanced promotes through three pathways: enhancing risk perception, expanding social capital, strengthening effectiveness promotion. Heterogeneity demonstrates improved enhances four technologies—water-saving irrigation, pest control, pollution-free pesticide, straw return fields—and exerts stronger impact on large-scale middle-generation farmers. Accordingly, this study suggests improving village infrastructure, comprehensively, formulating differentiated extension policies.

As digital mergers and acquisitions (M&As) gain prominence in corporate transformation, understanding their impact on NQPF is essential. Against the backdrop of global economic transformation and sustainable development, green technological innovation has become a core driver for enhancing national competitiveness addressing environmental challenges. With profound changes in production methods innovation, new quality productive forces (NQPF) have emerged as key innovation. This study aims to explore mechanisms through which NQPF influence Regional Green Technology Innovation (RGTI), with particular focus on mediating role intellectual property protection (IPP). Using panel data from 31 provinces China 2011 2022, we conduct an empirical analysis employing spatial Durbin model mediation effect model. The results indicate that significantly promote RGTI, particularly resource utilization efficiency greening processes. However, also identifies inverted U-shaped relationship between primarily driven by local dynamics, where positive diminishes after reaching certain threshold. Further reveals IPP plays crucial role, not only directly fostering but amplifying effects outcomes.
