Purpose
This
paper
analyses
the
effects
of
NTFPs
on
food
security
in
Burkina
Faso.
Design/methodology/approach
The
uses
primary
data
randomly
collected
from
256
households.
A
Consolidated
Approach
Reporting
Food
Insecurity
(CARI)
was
constructed
as
dependent
variable,
and
ordered
logistic
model
used
for
regression.
Findings
results
show
that
short
medium
marketing
channels
reduce
household
insecurity.
Practical
implications

Agroforestry

Food
security
issues
have
become
a
critical
concern
and
top
priority
for
developing
countries,

Ethiopia.
