Empirical
information
on
food
insecurity
at
the
disaggregated
geographic
level
is
vital
for
effective
interventions.
Using
a
household
survey,
we
explored
prevalence
of
among
smallholder
farming
households
and
analyzed
factors
associated
with
it
in
northern
Ethiopia.
We
collected
data
from
353
farmers
utilized
dietary
intake
method
to
assess
quantify
security.
Nearly
half
(49.3%)
are
unable
meet
minimum
energy
requirement
healthy

life.
The
distribution

reveals
that
approximately
29%

indicating

vulnerability.

issues
