Originating in ancient India, Ayurveda is an alternative medicinal approach that provides substantial evidence for a theoretical-level analysis of all aspects life. Unlike modern medicine, based upon tridoshas ( Vata, pitta, and Kapha ) Prakriti. On the other hand, research genes involved at proteomics, metabolomics, transcriptome levels are referred to as genomics . Geoclimatic regions (deshanupatini), familial characteristics (kulanupatini), ethnicity (jatiprasakta) have been shown affect phenotypic variability. The combination with known ayurgenomics provided new insights into tridosha may pave way precision medicine (personalized medicine). Through successful coordination “omics,” Prakriti -based treatments can help change existing situation health care. refers individual’s behavioral trait, which established moment birth cannot be fully altered during one’s existence. Ayurvedic methodologies on three aspects: aushadhi (medication), vihara (lifestyle), ahara (diet). Abstract Emerging evidence on molecular biology related to tumors, inflammation, and immunity, highlights their architectural commonality shifting cancer treatment paradigms toward more economical prevention than treatment. Statistical surveys reveal exponentially growing herbal drug supplementation in worldwide as vast pre‐clinical clinical data unravel multi‐mechanistic pharmacology. The integrative oncological approach calls for “holistic” principles be amalgamated into care. New development from herbs need not limited by the archetypal ‘RCT‐Standardization’ bottlenecks. Based comprehensive literature scoping per Prisma‐ScR guidelines, we herein concurrently reviewed evidence‐based research reports of selected Indian Traditional Medicine (ITM) anticancer repute parallel with holistic therapeutics; a rationalistic exploration ITM's scientific genre. Their synergy effect revisited using trans‐pharmacological validates seemingly simplistic health/disease equation model, showing fresh new avenue re‐purposing whole complexes management. Herbal drugs ITM are natural matrices whose dynamics interaction etiopathology conceptually mechanistically integrative. Lateral perspective same laid out this review holds key effectual tangible chemopreventives/new targets/leads if pharmacological tools.

Alzheimer's disease (AD) is the leading cause of dementia around globe. The disease's genesis multifaceted, and its pathophysiology complicated. Malfunction mitochondria has been regarded as one intracellular events that are substantially damaged in onset AD likely a common trait other neurodegenerative illnesses. Several mitochondrial characteristics begin to diminish with age, eventually reaching state significant functional failure concurrent beginning diseases, however, exact timing these processes unknown. Mitochondrial malfunction multitude negative repercussions, including reduced calcium buffering secondary excitotoxicity contributing synaptic dysfunction, also free radical production, activation permeability transition. Hence considered therapeutic target disorders such Alzheimer's. Traditional medicinal systems practiced different countries employing various plants postulated have potent role therapy management memory impairment amnesia, well AD. Although, chemical assessment clinical studies using or plant products demonstrated efficacy for AD, precise mechanism action still obscure. Therefore, this review discusses contribution towards pathogenesis considering phytotherapeutics potential strategy.

Background Ashwagandha is an excellent adaptogen that being used since ancient times in Ayurvedic medicine. Traditionally, it for various ailments and general well-being, including the treatment of geriatric patients. Managing quality life (QoL) remains a challenge elderly population, especially joint pain management, sleep, well-being. With growing global QoL management with efficient medication supplementation major healthcare requirement. Objective The objective this study was to assess safety, efficacy, tolerability (Withania somnifera (L.) Dunal.) root extract on improvement health sleep people. Methods This 12-week, prospective, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled conducted individuals either gender aged between 65-80 years. Participants were randomized receive at dose 600 mg/day (n = 25) orally, or identical placebo capsules same 12 weeks. Efficacy assessed using WHOQOL-BREF questionnaire, quality, mental alertness rising, Physician's Global Assessment Therapy (PGAET). safety clinical adverse events reporting Patient's Tolerability (PGATT). Results Statistically significant (P<0.0001) observed group compared placebo. mean (SD) total score improved from 140.53 (8.25) baseline 161.84(9.32) end study. individual domain scores also improved. At baseline, rising comparatively low both groups. However, upon intervention, increase (P<0.034) when group. Overall wellbeing, population. experimental population displayed good test product reported as safe beneficial by participants. Conclusion outcomes suggest improving QoL, self-assessed recommended could be effective
