The effectiveness of activated carbon green-synthesized with silver phosphate (AC-Ag/Ag3PO4) for the removal Rhodamine B (RhB) dye from simulated wastewater using a UVA-assisted photocatalytic process was investigated. AC-Ag/Ag3PO4 catalyst synthesized by facile co-precipitation method, and its structural, physicochemical, electronic properties were evaluated X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectrometry, scanning electron microscopy (SEM-EDX), thermogravimetric nitrogen sorption analysis. results indicate that at concentration 1 g.L−1 exhibits remarkable degradation, achieving 95.31% degradation RhB after 180 min under broadband UVA irradiation. Investigating elimination mechanism, h+ identified as key to elimination, itself contributing or through generation HO•. Our underline potential system an effective method treating RhB-contaminated wastewater, offering promising implications environmental remediation.

Kaolin is a common mineral resource that used commercially. However, when processed, it generates large amount of waste, usually rich in kaolinite, mica and quartz, which gives rise to the need manage reuse these residues, agreement with SDG 12/UN (ensuring sustainable consumption production) requirements. Therefore, this work aims explore how add value residue via its use as photocatalytic support for TiO2, while also meeting 6 (clean water sanitization) After determination chemical mineralogical composition, underwent separation, by mechanical stirring sieving aqueous suspension. TiO2 was deposited on quartz fraction modified-Pechini method, using different proportions at calcination temperatures. For deposition fraction, conventional hydrothermal synthesis used, 20% mica. Each material tested photohydroxilation terephthalic acid under UV-C irradiation evaluate formation hydroxyl radicals. The results tests demonstrated are inert photocatalysis but provide an interesting TiO2. highest efficiency obtained synthesized 600 °C quartz.

Ag3PO4/CeO2 composites were synthesized with loading Ag source on CeO2 which was prepared by calcination one-step precipitation. The structure of material characterized and analyzed different testing methods. At the same time, degradation effect simulated organic pollutant Rhodamine B antibacterial E. coli investigated growth curve, colony number other experiments. experimental results showed that rate 30 mL 40 mg/L solution 99.91 %, 6.34 times 1.67 Ag3PO4, respectively. order activity materials was: > Ag3PO4> CeO2.
