This paper investigates the effect of pre-COVID credit constraints and moderating role government support on agribusiness resilience following outbreak COVID-19. Using a dataset covering 42 countries, we provide empirical evidence how firm characteristics affect agribusinesses' likelihood survival performance during pandemic. On enterprise level, size, foreign ownership gender manager are found to display statistically significant relationship with closure sales performance. ABSTRACT Enterprises are increasingly under pressure to respond volatile market environments and uncertainties. Although higher environmental, social, governance (ESG) performance facilitates the stabilization of corporate operations, studies provide limited understanding on how ESG affects organizational resilience. By analyzing dataset from China's listed enterprises 2010 2023, this research examines connection between resilience, as well its influence mechanism. Results evidence that significantly increases In addition, promotes resilience by improving ambidextrous innovation capability (AIC). Further analysis indicated digitalization amplified positive financial volatility. Our determines value ESG, AIC, in assisting develop a resiliency cope with threat stressful environment. Purpose This paper aims to study the business-specific features associated with financial distress in enterprises during COVID-19 pandemic. This study utilized partial least squares structural equation modeling to investigate the interplay among planned resilience, adaptive and financial performance in hospitality tourism (H&T) sector. Additionally, potential gender gap relationship between resilience was examined through multi-group analysis. Data were gathered from 315 micro small enterprises H&T sector across three key areas Northern Mindanao, Philippines, selected based on their high tourist traffic. The results revealed that while positively influenced it did not significantly affect performance. Contrary prior literature, indicated an inverse suggests a unique impact of COVID-19 disruption outcomes underscoring limitations driving recovery. Moreover, analysis showed men exhibited stronger positive than women, suggesting disparities. This study applies a gender role perspective to delve into disparities in entrepreneurial exit decisions during unprecedented crises such as the COVID-19 pandemic.
