This study investigates the integration of Industry 4.0 technologies in education, focusing on their usage across different educational levels and impact learning. Through a comprehensive literature review articles from Scopus, ScienceDirect, Web Science databases, 51 were quantitatively analysed 23 qualitatively examined. Findings highlight increasing use augmented reality, virtual Internet Things, simulations, particularly higher to enhance student engagement, promote active participation, replicate real-world scenarios. Despite benefits, these are underutilised mostly confined manufacturing-related courses. The underscores potential advance Education all levels, advocating for broader implementation create dynamic effective learning environments.

Abstract Despite the growing interest in circular economy (CE) and recognition of CE as a research field, process building theories remains underdeveloped disorganized. Relevant reasons might include lack clear understanding what theory can be, prevalence gap‐spotting research, common goal for scholars. First, this forum article defines “CE theory” adopting positivistic approach. Second, presents more organized structure toward development oriented on empirical practices. In addition, study highlights how “partial theories” focusing specific practices, or combination them, should be first step an integrative theory. Third, paper suggests two main ways developing partial theories: (i) consolidating concepts already developed into elements theoretical framework; (ii) framing future pieces explicative that contribute to theories. Last, by approach practical‐oriented perspective, provides example contribution reuse. particular, leveraging form propositional theorizing, explains why reuse practices are expected observed industries characterized high degree product modularization, standardization, innovation. doing so, aims enrich foster contributions studies.

Purpose This paper aims to investigate the direct and combined impacts of entrepreneurial orientation (EO) conservative (CO) on perceived business performance (PBP) small- medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) under strategic-hybrid (SHO) theory. Design/methodology/approach The data collected from SABI NEO international database has 90 companies in 13 medium-to-high high-tech activity sectors. authors used partial least squares structural equation modelling test research model. Findings Business strategies match a SHO that includes both orientations, i.e. EO CO. Moreover, as expected, found evidence each produces performance-related sign-opposite significant impacts. Finally, hypothesis regarding positive synergistic effect orientations (EO CO) PBP was also supported. Research limitations/implications One stems study’s cross-sectional nature, requiring longitudinal approach. Another one resides absence further examinations concerning multigroup analysis. restraint is limitedness data, focused firms with med/high-tech intensity. For last, while use results initial stages theory development can be beneficial, it important note such cannot simply extrapolated or generalized other industrial sectors without careful consideration contextual factors at play. Social implications study humbly endeavours contribute finality SMEs’ more steady prosperous existence consciousness need improve labour stability wage fairness, conditions continuous commitment. Originality/value In this study, aimed impact PBP. To end, simultaneously two different strategic (SOs): EO, which widely studied literature, CO, been less researched. examined their effects authors’ approach based Venkatraman’s model comparative paradigm SOs.

The industrial shift from Industry 4.0 to 5.0 has transformed organizational thinking, moving the focus purely technological implementation a more human-centered approach. current study focused on capabilities bring into circular economy practices aligned with sustainable development goals, aiming enhance performance. Moreover, resource-based theory grounded of comprehensive framework (artificial intelligence capabilities, big data analytical Internet Things machine learning and blockchain technology capabilities) (eco-design, management system, investment recovery) achieve performance (environmental performance, social economic performance). Data have been collected 179 respondents Chinese manufacturing industry. Additionally, analyzed using structural equation modeling technique. results showed that directly affect played dual, moderating, mediating role between contributed filling gap in literature especially perspective. practical contribution recommended is if organizations their it would boost goals.
