In detail, role is considered in terms (i) specific effect given digital technology (DT)—among artificial intelligence, cloud computing, robotics, smart devices, big data analytics, high speed infrastructure, blockchain—and (ii) concurrent adoption multiple DTs (degree digitalization). Furthermore, assesses if how degree moderated by implementation sustainability practices, as two issues are often treated independently. Research questions proposed instead hypotheses. Econometric analysis answer based sample 14,125 firms, whose information gathered from survey Flash Eurobarometer 486. Results reveal that each DT differently affects innovations, while always beneficial. Moreover, it appears practices not complementary.
