Abstract A thermoelectric generation (TEG) system has the weakness of relatively low conversion efficiency caused by heterogeneous temperature distribution (HgTD). Dynamic reconfiguration is an effective technique to improve its overall energy under HgTD. Nevertheless, numerous combinations electrical switches make dynamic a complex combinatorial optimization problem. This paper aims design novel adaptive coordinated seeker (ACS) based on optimal configuration strategy for large-scale TEG systems with series–parallel connected modules HgTDs. To properly balance global exploration and local exploitation, ACS ‘divide-and-conquer’ parallel computing, which synthetically coordinates searching capability tabu search (TS) pelican algorithm (POA) during iterations. In addition, equivalent re-optimization solution obtained meta-heuristic algorithms (MhAs) proposed reduce redundant switching actions randomness MhAs. Two case studies are carried out assess feasibility superiority in comparison artificial bee colony algorithm, ant optimization, genetic particle swarm simulated annealing TS, POA. Simulation results indicate that can realize fast stable RTLAB platform-based hardware-in-the-loop experiments further validate hardware implementation feasibility.

Abstract Huge heat energy is ultimately generated in the color converter as a result of nonradiative recombination high‐power laser excitation. Inspired by thermoelectric conversion, high‐performance phosphor‐in‐glass film (PIGF) coated on generator (TEG) for recycling high‐brightness lighting proposed. The heat‐resistance PIGF with high luminescence tightly hot‐side ceramic TEG, while yielding bright white light and promoting conduction between TEG. At thickness 60 µm, PIGF‐TEG enables natural luminous flux 464 lm, efficacy 194 lm W −1 , correlated temperature (CCT) 6552 K, an appropriate chromaticity coordinate (0.3117, 0.3302) under power 2.39 W. Aside from output 1045 laser‐driven produces voltage current 0.46 V 174 mA 5.61 W, respectively. Therefore, proposed provides potential strategy phosphor‐converted lighting.

The development of alternative renewable energy technologies is crucial for alleviating climate change and promoting transformation. Of the currently available technologies, solar has promising application prospects owing to its merits being clean, safe, sustainable. Solar converted into electricity through photovoltaic (PV) cells; however, overall conversion efficiency PV modules relatively low, most captured dissipated in form heat. This not only reduces power generation cells but may also have a negative impact on electrical parameters service life cells. To overcome shortcomings, an efficient approach involves combining cell with thermoelectric generator (TEG) hybrid PV-TEG systems, which simultaneously improve system by reducing operating temperature increasing output utilizing waste heat generated from generate via TEGs. Based thorough examination literature, this study comprehensively reviews 14 maximum point tracking (MPPT) algorithms applied systems classifies them five major categories further discussion, namely conventional, mathematics-based, metaheuristic, artificial intelligence, other algorithms. review aims inspire advanced ideas research MPPT systems.
