In recent years, personal care products (PCPs) have surfaced as a novel class of pollutants due to their release into wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) and receiving environments by sewage effluent biosolid-augmentation soil, which poses potential risks non-target organisms. Triclocarban (TCC), an emerging organic contaminant (EOC), has become a severe threat to soil microbial communities and ecological security. Here, the TCC-degrading strain Rhodococcus rhodochrous BX2 DCA-degrading Pseudomonas sp. LY-1 (together referred as TC1) were immobilized on biochar remove TCC its intermediates in TCC-contaminated soil. High-throughput sequencing was used investigate community structure Analysis of co-occurrence networks explore mutual relationships among microbiome members.
