The transition to renewable energy poses a significant contemporary challenge. To address this, understanding the determinants of this is pivotal. This study examines consumption in Eurozone from 2000 2019 using panel data analysis and Driscoll-Kraay technique with time-fixed effects. Two models test: one aggregated production another disaggregated data. Confirming existing literature, strong inverse association emerges between GDP consumption. A negative relationship arises Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), imports, Moreover, direct, robust correlation exists R&D expenditure When comparing two models, shows both overall volume electricity volumes differentiated by sources. Notably, proves more pronounced model. Disaggregated type provides higher explanatory power, underscoring its value for future studies. Consequently, underscores heightened accuracy reliability transition.

Amid the rapid deployment of third-generation nuclear power, our understanding its actual contribution to greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reductions remains limited. In a case study focused on China's mainstream power technology, HPR1000, we constructed life cycle carbon accounting framework for plants (LCCA-NPP). Our analysis encompassed entire including construction, operation, and decommissioning. The total GHG emissions HPR1000 range from 10.66 11.19 Tg CO2e, with intensity 10.03-10.54 g CO2e/kWh. As China advances toward neutrality objective, in offsetting fossil fuels is projected rise about 3% 2020 7%-8% by 2030. By mid-century mark 2050, it anticipated that will offset roughly 70% energy sources.

One of the key contributors to climate change is energy consumption, with type used having implications on natural environment and health users. To promote environmental sustainability sustainable development, Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 7 aims achieve accessibility, affordability clean modern forms for all. This study investigate effects women empowerment, corruption control, foreign direct investment, sectoral growth access in Africa, as well interrelatedness these factors access. Using data 32 countries Africa from 2002 2021 rigorous econometric techniques, finds that empowerment control significantly increase while analyses show varying different sectors accessibility.
