Release of hazardous compounds such as heavy metals polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons can be directly coupled with the use those accumulated in port sediments. Objective: The objective of this study is to investigates the physicochemical characteristics and bioremediation potential Bacillus licheniformis on effluent from a steel manufacturing facility in Salem, India Method: A laboratory-based experimental approach was used assess licheniformis's capacity for production wastewater. This work studies precipitation phenomena under a pH resembling steel and compares it that of the same conditions. The paper presents the results of application raw phosphogypsum as an adsorbent for preliminary treatment coke-chemical wastewater with initial concentration phenol 395 mg/L. Studies in batch mode have proved that removal is promoted by increasing dose and effluent temperature, optimal was found to be 5 g/L. adsorption kinetics follows a pseudo-first-order model, maximum capacity reaches 85 mg/g, which provides purification from at level 85-90%. process spontaneous endothermic.
