Abstract Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) is used in textile and packaging industries. The main source of PET production fossil fuels with limited capacity. Also, products are single use that transform into high volumes wastes, causing ecosystem problems. Recycling proposed to confront this challenge. four major recycling techniques mechanical, chemical, pyrolysis, enzymatic. Mechanical, enzymatic have constrained capabilities manage waste. Chemical the potential path expanding waste possibility upcycling addressing dirty streams. Several chemical methods introduced discussed literature. five glycolysis, alcoholysis, aminolysis, ammonolysis, hydrolysis. This review describes depolymerization via these introduces hydrolysis as one can depolymerize an organic‐free solvent environment. Hydrolysis tolerates mixed wastes streams including copolymers. It helps avoid challenges attributed using organic solvents reaction systems. Moreover, produces terephthalic acid, monomer, which has recently gained attention initiative monomer for production. focuses on three forms hydrolysis—alkaline, neutral, by presenting background studies, issued patents, recent trends application

As the demand for materials continues to increase and building lifespans shorten, construction industry faces mounting pressure reduce its material environmental impacts. Mismanagement of demolition waste (CDW) can have severe consequences. To address this, recovery circular economy approaches offer significant potential reducing through sustainable use resources. Existing models that prioritize recycling reuse efforts demonstrate a sustained commitment supporting practices in sector. The goal is minimize production, which poses challenges such as raw shortages sustainability concerns. Using Preferred Reporting Items Systematic Reviews Meta-Analyses statement recruiting relevant literature, this mini review aims identify obstacles implementing industry, while exploring opportunities circularity. ultimate aim facilitate fair smooth transition towards development, addressing environmental, social economic barriers. A more approach management be attained by considering all aspects CDW cycle, resulting benefits environment society whole.

In Japan, mechanical plastic recycling has been widely practiced. recent years, the chemical method gaining interest, especially due to its high-quality products similar virgin materials. Understanding environmental impact of both methods from energy consumption standpoint is crucial so that attempts preserve resources can be based in most energy-sustainable way. This research aims determine and two types technologies (coke oven gasification) by analyzing their usage loads. The results relating electricity water show a 17% share global warming potential (GWP), coke 51%, gasification 32%. Although lower GWP, yields highly valuable byproducts reused processes, such as steam industrial water, reducing overall load. These recovered materials are also potentially useful for other processes an symbiosis ecosystem.

The carbon emission trading system profoundly impacts enterprises’ sustainable development as an important market incentive environmental regulation tool. Through data collected from Chinese A-share listed enterprises in Shanghai and Shenzhen 2011 to 2019 Bloomberg ESG score data, this paper empirically analyses the impact of policy on enterprise performance its channel mechanism using difference-in-difference (DID) method. Results study indicate that improves significantly, robustness tests confirm these findings. Carbon can encourage enhance their R&D investments promote internal controls, ultimately enhancing performance. Additionally, positively low-carbon enterprises, where CEO is separated company, with a high degree digital transformation, receiving government subsidies. This extends our research into economic implications policy, enriching literature market-based policies’ With respect governments’ use regulate environmentally, provides theoretical guidance. It has significant practical for improving sustainability.
