Abstract The construction of "zero-waste city" is an effective program to realize China's reduction pollution and carbon emissions promote circular economy. In this paper, the potential solid waste source disposal in Chongqing around implementation Zero-waste city policy calculated based on emission factor method using WARM model developed by EPA. results show that emisssion producted various types mainly concentrated field general industrial livestock poultry manure, comes from five major waste: waste, hazardous straw. "Zero-waste achieve Chongqing, increasing proportion recycling reduce amount landfill as far possible key all process. trend 2025 predicted decrease both "BAU" "PLAN" scenarios, which indicates upgrading transformation local industries scaling up industry have achieved good benefits.
