Nowadays the pace of production and consumption is reaching environmentally unsustainable levels. In this regard, great technological advances developed in recent years are postulated as a source opportunities to boost circular economy sustainable development. Intelligent chatbots powered by large language models (LLMs) have recently been sweeping the world, with potential for a wide variety of industrial applications. Global frontier technology companies are feverishly participating in LLM-powered chatbot design and development, providing several alternatives beyond famous ChatGPT. However, training, fine-tuning, updating such intelligent consume substantial amounts electricity, resulting significant carbon emissions. The research development all LLMs software, hardware manufacturing (e.g., graphics processing units supercomputers), related data/operations management, material recycling supporting services associated emissions to varying extents. Attention should therefore be paid entire life-cycle energy footprints both present future order mitigate their climate change impact. The construction industry is a resource- and energy-intensive sector, and, thus, it has been criticised due to rising environmental concerns. Last-mile logistics has emerged as a tool for responsiveness, however, requires dynamic business models and technology to integrate all the stakeholders. Blockchain is emerging platform supply chain problems due its prospective features, adoption slow unclear benefits diverse challenges it brings. This study explores relationship between last-mile practices (LMLPs), blockchain challenges, features benefits. Data are collected principal component analysis used rank practices. Finally, we measure impact of on LMLPs using regression analysis.
