Abstract Although traditional petroleum‐based packaging materials pose environmental problems, biodegradable have attracted extensive attention from research and industry for their environmentally friendly properties. Bio‐based films, as an alternative to demonstrate significant advantages in terms of friendliness resource sustainability. This paper provides insight into the development biomass food films such cellulose, starch, chitosan, gelatine, including properties, methods preparation (e.g., solution casting, extrusion blow molding, layer‐by‐layer assembly, electrostatic spinning), applications packaging. Through these methods, analyzes how properties can be effectively tuned optimized meet specific needs. It was found that film not only possess functional antimicrobial, preservation, indication, but also continued material innovation technological improvements offer promising prospects use commercial applications. These advances could help advance global sustainable goals, while showing great potential improving safety extending shelf life. Future will further explore new functions providing additional solutions protection

Rice husk-derived activated carbon was hybridized with polypyrrole hydrogel (Pyh), producing advanced nanocomposite (Pyh/AC). The composite applied as an enhanced adsorbent for two forms of toxic phenolic compounds, particularly bisphenol-A (BSP-A) and 4-chlorophenol (4-CL). adsorption studies were evaluated considering the synthetic effect Pyh based on criteria statistical physics equilibrium modeling. reported saturation capacities BSP-A 4-CL using Pyh/AC are 321.4 mg/g 365.8 mg/g, respectively. These values significantly higher than estimated in separated form. analysis steric properties validated about 169.7 119.5 active site density during uptake 4-CL, densities (110.5 99.3 (4-CL)), demonstrating positive impact hybridization process terms surface area, porosity, incorporated chemical functional groups.
