With
the

energy
consumption
demand,

renewable

today.
Microgrids

integrated

As
global
energy
demand
continues
to
rise,
integrating
renewable
sources
(RES)
into
power
systems
has
become
increasingly
important.
However,
the
intermittent
nature
of
RES,
such
as
solar
and
wind,
presents
challenges
for
maintaining
a
stable
supply.
To
address
this
issue,

essential.

promising
technology
is
micro-compressed
air
(micro-CAES),
which
stores
excess
compressed
releases

when
needed
balance
supply
demand.
This
study
investigates
integration
micro-CAES
with
RES
in
19-home
microgrid
northern
Portugal.

evaluate
effectiveness
configuration

100
kW
PV,

wind
power,
50
kWh
system.
Using
real-world
data
on
electricity
consumption
local
potential,
simulation
conducted

performance

reveal

study
