The rapid pace of urbanization and global climate change necessitates a thorough assessment urban ecological resilience to cultivate sustainable regional ecosystem development. Cities along the Yangtze River face an intensifying conflict between preservation socio-economic growth. Analyzing these centers is essential for achieving equilibrium in ecosystems. This study proposes “system process space” attribute analysis framework, taking into account development processes, structure, evolution stages. Utilizing data from 45 cities, we establish “Driver, Pressure, State, Impact, Response” (DPSIR) evaluation index system evaluate changes levels trends 2011 2022. Our findings indicate that: (1) cities increased 0.177 0.307 2022, progressing through three phases: construction, development, stable (2) At city level, exhibits uneven characteristics. Upstream display significant “stepped” pattern, midstream exhibit “Matthew effect”, downstream present pyramid-shaped pattern. While differences persist, overall polarization gradually decreasing, intercity connections are strengthening, there growing focus on coordinated (3) spatial distribution demonstrates both continuity evolution, generally forming “core-edge” clustered Based findings, recommend enhancing inter-city cooperation connectivity, addressing imbalances resilience, promoting high-quality tailored strategies each city.

This study constructs a indicators system of urban ecological resilience based on "resistance-adaptation-recovery", and measures the level cities within Yangtze River Economic Belt Yellow Basin from 2006 to 2021. Utilizing Dagum Gini coefficient, traditional spatial kernel density methods, geographical detector, comprehensively analyzes spatiotemporal evolution causes in these regions across multiple dimensions. Furthermore, it explores different paths for enhancing two regions. The results indicate: (1) is significantly lower than that Basin, yet exhibits faster growth rate. Both show distribution characterized by "higher east, west". (2) overall internal differences between downward trend. exhibited more pronounced imbalances compared Basin; however, since 2011, this trend has reversed. (3) both improving, absolute gap gradually narrowing, showing significant towards polarization terms evolutionary features. Cities with levels demonstrate increased upward mobility, while higher exhibit low mobility or even decline. (4) Differences restoration adaptative capabilities are principal intrinsic factors affecting regions, whereas variations economic development capital efficiency serve as important extrinsic determining their differences. (5) Increasing investment green technologies, promoting industrial low-carbon transformations, encouraging social investments, strengthening technological innovations crucial strategies Meanwhile, optimizing open channels improves Basin.

The bay area contains terrestrial forests and coastal mangroves with vital ecosystem functions, which provide essential services such as carbon sequestration biodiversity maintenance. Meanwhile, the usually hosts intensive socioeconomic activities. High-intensity anthropogenic activities in have threatened marine environment. Harmonizing relationship between conservation, environmental governance, development is crucial for realizing national “coordinated land development” strategy promoting sustainability area. This study constructed a coupling coordination assessment system of ecosystem, system, system. Taking Fujian River Delta case study, multiple ecological models were integrated to quantify degree these three systems present its spatial distribution characteristics. Furthermore, constraint types on spatially revealed results suggested that there are significant differences Delta. areas relatively low mainly focused central part Xiamen Bay southeastern Quanzhou Regions high tend weak or eco-environmental conditions. critical factor Zhangzhou backward level. backwardness both exists most districts In addition, conditions worse than those Area
