The paper aims to show through a case study of the semi-process sector (ceramic Industry) that Lean manufacturing and Industry 4.0 technologies eliminate waste improve value irrespective type industry. This research investigates the factors influencing environmental sustainability in a Peruvian higher education institution (HEI), using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS. The methodology included data collection through questionnaires administered to students, alumni, and professors, followed by SEM analysis assess relationships between technological support (TS), document management (DM), open government (OG), pro-environmental organizational culture (POC), service satisfaction (SS), (ES). findings emphasize that infrastructure significantly enhances management, which turn boosts promotes culture. emerges as most powerful mediator, impacting sustainability. Although also contributes positively, its effect is less pronounced. Furthermore, transparency access information improve albeit lesser impact. Today, businesses are adopting digital transformation strategies to make their production processes more agile, efficient, and sustainable. At the same time, lean manufacturing principles aim create value by reducing waste in processes. In this context, it is important that machine be selected for inventory tracking can meet both technological features suitable goals operational efficiency criteria required manufacturing. study, multi-criteria decision-making methods were used select most based on perspectives. This study applies a framework integrates Continuous Intuitionistic Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (CINFU AHP) Combinative Distance-Based Assessment CODAS) tracking. The contributes providing actionable insights robust sensitivity analyses, ensuring reliability under fluctuating conditions. CINFU AHP method determines relative importance of each criterion incorporating expert opinions. Six criteria, Speed (C1), Setup Time (C2), Ease Operate Move (C3), Ability Handle Multiple Operations (C4), Maintenance Energy Cost (C5), Lifetime (C6), considered study. C1 C4, with scores 0.25 0.23, respectively. Following weighting, CODAS ranks alternative machines performance across weighted criteria. Four (High-Speed Automated Scanner (A1), Multi-Functional Robotic Arm (A2), Mobile Inventory Tracker (A3), Cost-Efficient Fixed Counter (A4)) evaluated selected. results indicate Alternative A1 ranked first because its superior speed efficiency, while A3 last due high initial cost despite being cost-effective. While bike-sharing systems have generated significant economic benefits, they also faced challenges regarding the disposal and recycling of discarded bicycle frames. A potential solution to reuse these difficult-to-recycle frames for essential public service facilities in rural areas has not yet been thoroughly explored. Using shape grammar as a design method, this study examines two typical frame designs with different geometric properties successfully repurpose into various facilities, such tables chairs, railings, installations, restrooms. Purpose The study aims to conduct a bibliometric analysis of literature concerning Industry 4.0 (I4.0) applications in the healthcare sector, with focus on identifying prevalent research themes and gaps existing providing future directions. Design/methodology/approach A systematic review has been done by retrieving I4.0 sector using Scopus database. Bibliometric conducted, which incorporates science mapping techniques, including co-occurrence bibliographic coupling, analyse intellectual structure within field research. Findings revealed major thematic clusters, prominent authors, countries, sources influential documents healthcare. identified six adoption technologies, data management, value chain, cloud fog computing, managing COVID-19 pandemic 3D for personalized drug dosing.
