Exploring the "on–off" control of hydrogen release remains a critical issue for efficiently on-demand utilization energy. In this work, new storage strategy loading ammonia borane (AB) solid and metal catalyst Co in halloysite nanotube aerogel (AB@Co/HNTA) is proposed controlled from AB hydrolysis by controlling added water. The results show that nanoparticles with size 3.07 nm are uniformly distributed on HNTA surface, can be packaged into to form bulk composite. Controlled generation achieved AB@Co/HNTA system, which turned off amount water aerogel. Further, decorated (Co/HNTA) reused encapsulate next run after complete hydrolysis. This work provides approach application field "on-board" device, solid-system hydrolytic extended any other porous material loaded catalysts.

This study investigates the innovative use of natural porous clays from Bejaad Region in Morocco as a support matrix for encapsulation and controlled release lemon essential oil (Citrus limonum, EOCL), compound with well-documented insecticidal properties. The research aims to address inherent challenges oils, particularly their high volatility rapid degradation, by improving stability efficiency against grain pest Sitophilus granarius. By anchoring EOCL onto clay matrices, this seeks achieve sustained active components, thereby enhancing practical application biopesticides. were comprehensively characterized using advanced analytical techniques, including X-ray diffraction (XRD), fluorescence (XRF), Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), scanning electron microscopy energy-dispersive analysis (SEM-EDX), thermogravimetric (TGA). These techniques revealed mineralogical composition, thermal properties, morphology clays, demonstrating suitability effectively adsorbing retaining EOCL. performance clay/EOCL composites was thoroughly tested under conditions, revealing marked improvement efficacy, significantly lower lethal doses required mortality rates diffusion through modeled Fick’s law diffusion, results further refined statistical optimization identify key parameters that influence effectiveness compounds. Abstract To maintain the biological activities of sandalwood essential oil (SEO), antibacterial microcapsules were prepared through encapsulation SEO with melamine formaldehyde (MF) resin and β‐cyclodextrin (β‐CD). The micromorphology, chemical structure, thermal stability MF β‐CD characterized scanning electron microscopy, Fourier‐transform infrared spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis. results compared to highlight differences between microcapsules. Additionally, changes in aroma components during microencapsulation process analyzed. volatile organic compounds (VOCs) their relative contents retained throughout examined. VOCs both identified via headspace‐solid phase microextraction combined gas chromatography‐mass spectrometry. revealed that β‐santalol α‐santalol primary SEO. Even after microencapsulation, successfully its characteristic VOCs. properties evaluated using plate coating counting method. These confirmed microencapsulated maintained significant activity against Escherichia coli Staphylococcus aureus . This study provides valuable theoretical insights support future research on release behavior
