Abstract
Organic
wastes
from
the
human
ecosystem
including
food
waste
(FW),
agricultural
and
digested
sludge
(DS)
wastewater
treatment
can
be
utilized
as
valuable
materials
in
anaerobic
co-digestion
(AcoD)
for
dual
purpose
of
bioenergy
production
phosphorus
(P)
recovery
through
a
chemical
precipitation
process.
In
this
study,
AcoD
using
FW
corn
residues
(CS)
with
DS
simultaneous
sustainable
phosphate
release
biogas
were
investigated.
Different
hydraulic
retention
times
(HRT)
10,
20,
30
days
investigated,
was
grinded,
while
CS
pre-treatment
methods
physical
(FWCS),
(FWCS-Chem),
thermal
(FWCS-Temp)
considered.
The
substrates
compositions
conducted
total
organic
loading

Polyphosphates,
