National parks not only protect natural resources but also provide a variety of cultural ecosystem services, with their rural areas serving as important locations for providing recreation services (RRS). Spatial quantification RRS supply and demand will contribute to ensuring the protection promotion human well-being in national parks. In this study, we proposed an integrated framework map assess spatial distribution Changhong Township, located within Qianjiangyuan Park. We used combination analysis MaxEnt model tools, which played positive role saving time when modeling services. Based on findings, study area was divided into different zones propose planning measures. The results showed that (1) robust mapping supply. had high heterogeneity. (2) proportion where exceeded 72.58%, primarily distributed level naturalness at periphery area. (3) This Township four types zones: developed service area, potential marginal suggestions scientific utilization management each zone. Overall, our findings basis spaces parks, promoting comprehensive

ABSTRACT Neglecting integrated management may exacerbate the imbalance between supply and demand of ecosystem services (ESs) in transboundary watersheds. Although strategies such as payments for watershed (PWS) have been implemented to mitigate externalities ESs, complexity watersheds is often underestimated, diminishing their effectiveness. This study proposed a comprehensive framework assess dynamics recreational service China's Xin'an River, identifying driving factors. Results showed that: (1) growth rate upstream (50.5%) was higher than that downstream (8.4%) during period; (2) lower downstream. observation corroborated through choice experiments; (3) exhibited significant supply–demand with 74.5% oversupplied. These results suggest environmental are not fully internalized, especially areas; (4) identified road accessibility, land degradation, preferences key insights offer new perspective on internalization PWS can inform development policies region‐integrated management.

Cultural ecosystem services (CESs) reflect the interaction between ecosystems and human well-being. Owing to constraints in data availability existing methodological limitations, deriving information from non-material attributes was inadequate. We took Yulin City, located northern Shaanxi Loess Plateau, as a case study. Based on open-source geospatial user social media, coupled multi-source model applied elucidate spatial distribution of CESs’ supply–demand flow. The Maxent LDA were utilized quantify CES supply–demand, whereas breakpoint gravity explain direction intensity results indicated following: (1) aesthetic most perceivable Yulin, with 27% high supply areas four demand topics. And perception educational least pronounced, only 2% two (2) exhibited notable mismatching matching area constituting approximately 10%. In center city, CESs displayed pattern deficit, while farther city presented surplus. (3) flow followed movement peripheral counties central less developed more counties. proposed following targeted recommendations: introducing low-perception promote enhancement (ESs); alleviating mismatches by enhancing transportation accessibility protecting ecological environment. Simultaneously, attention should be directed towards developmental disparities counties, providing differentiated guidance for Our study provided theoretical foundation understanding offered scientific insights development urban CES.

The ecological environment in cities has posed a severe threat due to rapid unplanned and haphazard urbanization worldwide. Thus, an assessment is essential for policy implications sustainable management of urban ecosystems. This study aims assess dynamics their impact on the habitat eco-environmental quality English Bazar Urban Agglomeration (EBUA), Eastern India. A remote sensing-based index have been developed 2001, 2011, 2021. assessed along urban-rural gradient using multi-ring buffer approach. spatial metrics were also used sensitivity elasticity. model validated (r2= 0.727 r2= 0.654 quality) based imperviousness extracted from Sentinel 2 data. findings showed that (i) vegetation cover water bodies decreased by 56.72% 67.99%,(ii) deteriorated 39.30% (iii) areas with very high 37.20% (2001) 5.26% (2021) (iv) improved core towards fringe rural (v) landscape pattern i.e. area mean (AREA_MN) aggregation (AI) built-up had negative quality. study's provide new perspective regarding relationship between development.

Cultural Ecosystem Services (CESs), as non-material benefits and well-being provided by ecosystems to humans, possess the ability bridge nature human society interpret their complex interrelationships. Coastal areas are regions with concentrated activities, where coastal zones often subject development, pollution, degradation. Compared other ecosystems, face greater pressures threats, cultural services they provide more vulnerable. Research on ecosystem needs consider vulnerability find ways protect restore functions. Therefore, this paper explores intrinsic logical system feasibility of guiding natural resource management enhancing through CESs, discussing related research data acquisition, method analysis, perceptual application. Based this, analyzes development trends CESs in from aspects such biodiversity, human–nature interaction processes, heritage conservation, local economic community management. Finally, it proposes advancing in-depth perspectives integrating multi-source data, interdisciplinary incorporating into policy making, providing theoretical support for systematic study rational utilization sustainable development.
