This
study
aims
to
explore
the
spatial
spillover
effects
of
national
climate
legislation
on
carbon
emission
reduction
by
using
cross-country
panel
data
from
2002
2021.
The
results
show
following:
First,
estimation
outcomes
confirm
presence
correlations
between
dioxide
emissions
and
across
countries.
Second,
shows
that
effect
CO2
is
significantly
negative.
Hence,
indicate
being
surrounded
nations
with
more
laws
positively
impacts
environmental
quality.
Third,
regarding
direct
impact
effects,
parliamentary
legislative
acts
stronger
than
governmental
executive
orders.
Finally,
even
effect,
we
uncover
robust
evidence
supporting
an
inverted-U-shaped
EKC
linkage
GDP
per
capita,
under
effect.

The
coordinated
development
of
urban
competitiveness
(UC)
and
green
total
factor
productivity
(GTFP)

273
Chinese
cities
evaluate

index

projection
pursuit
method.

analysis

rise

overall
coordination
between
China;

fluctuations

stability,

all

β-convergence,

Central
China
exhibiting

convergence
slowest;

structure,
human
capital,

growth
rate

converge

trend.
