Abstract This study aims to fill a crucial gap in current research by examining the multifaceted relationships between energy depletion, technical cooperation grants, industrialization, and environmental degradation. By focusing on Pakistan, country emblematic of many developing nations facing rapid industrialization resource constraints, this offers valuable insights with broad applicability. The significance lies its innovative approach utilizing load capacity factor as novel proxy for sustainability, moving beyond traditional metrics like CO2 emissions ecological footprints. analyzes time series data from 1970 2022 using advanced econometric techniques, particularly dynamic autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) model. findings reveal nuanced picture impact Energy depletion are found exert significant adverse influence quality, exacerbating degradation over time. Conversely, grants emerge mitigating factor, demonstrating positive association sustainability. Moreover, conducts sensitivity analysis comparing results obtained those derived comparative robust into dynamics degradation, enriching understanding complex interplay economic activities outcomes. Further, policies discussed theory practice.

ABSTRACT This study examines how social investment and green finance affect sustainable development (SDE) in 16 emerging market economies from 2014 to 2022. Truncated regression, Prais‐Winsten single‐equation instrumental variables (IV) regression models were applied for the empirical analysis. The findings reveal that have positive effects, whereas poverty ecological footprint negatively SDE. Social reduces negative impact of on SDE by enhancing human reducing economic vulnerability, confirming moderation impact. Juodis‐Karavias‐Sarafidis (JKS) panel's non‐causality analysis confirms causal relationship between variables. recommends markets allocate more resources initiatives limit their consumption natural avoid consequences a high footprint. implies doing going is essential meeting sustainability challenges post‐modern era economies.

Green finance (GFN) plays a critical role in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and air pollution, serving as key financial mechanism to promote green growth economic sustainability (ESS). This paper explores how GFN, along with fintech (FNT), environmental benefits (ENB), urbanization (URB), natural resource management (NRM), influences ESS E7 countries from 2000 2022. While fintech’s rapid technological advancements offer significant potential, they also introduce increased complexity systemic risks. Using rigorous methods such method of moments quantile regression (MMQR) Westerlund analysis, this study validates the relationships heterogeneity among these variables through preliminary tests, including matrix correlation, cross-sectional dependence (CSD), slope (SH), CIPS unit root tests. The findings indicate that ENB, FNT positively contribute ESS, while URB NRM have an inverse relationship ESS. These insights not only deepen our understanding ecological factors influence but provide practical policy recommendations for countries. study’s conclusions valuable guidance optimizing advancing toward sustainable development goals (SDGs).
