Background: The decline in wheat output Ethiopia is widely attributed to pests, which has led a rise the usage of pesticides boost productivity. degree sorption and degradation influence likelihood environmental contamination from seeping into water bodies soil not yet been published for Ethiopian soils. study aimed at quantify levels pesticide residues, assess glyphosate’s adsorption capabilities rate Materials methods: QuEChERS method extraction was employed determine concentration respective pesticides. capacities glyphosate agricultural soils Cheha Dinsho districts were measured using batch techniques. Results: Six residues found 12 samples varied quantities. Glyphosate (24.00-219.31 µg kg −1 ), s-metolachlor (23.67-220.67 chlorpyrifos (27.74 202.67 pyroxulam (14.67-50.65 florasulam (78.00-250.67 malathion (15.00-49.67 ). experimental results showed that slightly sorbed SD10 (18.91 μg −1−n mL n g ) comparison SC1 (114.66 Organic matter clay content proving be principal factors influencing process. According data, chemisorption major process adsorption, with pseudo-second order kinetic model providing best fit ( R 2 = .99). area exhibit notable variations (0.0076-0.0221 week findings show main variables affecting half-life (glyphosate degradation) concentrations .48; P .013), pH .55; .0055), .74; .00027), Fe ox .50; .0105), Al .73; .00046). Conclusion: weak can good indicator are poised endanger organisms contaminate nearby through runoff leaching.

The use of pesticides has increased dramatically in recent decades, causing concern, particularly regarding human exposure and health effects. New strategies have been developed to limit the such hazardous substances. These include development "nanopesticides", which consist either nanomaterials used directly as active ingredient or carriers encapsulate ingredient. nanoformulated pesticide offer many advantages could be more efficient safer than their conventional counterparts. However, little is known about potential impact on health. aim this review provide an overview current studies investigating adverse effects nanopesticides, nanoencapsulated pesticides, A literature search was conducted PubMed Web Science databases using following keywords: (nano*) AND (pesticid* OR phytosanitar* herbicid* insecticid* fungicid* weedicid*) (toxi* inflam* oxidative stress) (human mammalian). Articles were excluded if: i) they reviews, ii) no toxicity data reported, iii) non-mammalian models, iv) not for delivery, v) articles written English. Of 2102 papers, only 27 included, highlighting lack nanopesticides mammalian models. In conclusion, although appear promising tools hazard extensive are still necessary ensure safety, especially health, before widespread application.

Global development has led to the generation of substantial levels hazardous contaminants, including pesticides, which pose significant environmental risks. Effective elimination these pollutants is essential, and innovative materials techniques offer promising solutions. This study examines modification natural zeolite (clinoptilolite) fly ash-based NaA NaX zeolites with hexadecyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) create inexpensive adsorbents for removing 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4-D) herbicide from water. Detailed characterization was performed, along an evaluation effects pH, contact time, temperature, initial 2,4-D concentration on their sorption capacities. The modified samples exhibited changes in elemental composition (e.g., reduced SiO
