The intersection between Covid-19, housing and inequality has played an important role in the pandemic, particularly private rental sector (PRS). This article draws on qualitative research Ireland to examine tenants' experiences of 'home making' unmaking' during pandemic. It explores structural everyday processes that shaped experience 'home', identifies factors which undermined experience. Our finds Covid-19 pandemic collided with existing set inequalities PRS, including those related insecurity, poor quality dwellings inability control or adapt dwellings. Analysing how structures interacted impact as well practices home making unmaking, re-centres order make visible politics context suggests equality needs be 'baked in' our systems avoid kind mutually reinforcing dynamic external shock pre-existing identified present research.

Urban green infrastructure provides a range of experiences for people and various health benefits that support human well-being. To increase urban resilience, exceptional situations, such as the COVID-19 pandemic, are important to learn from. This study aims understand how residents in Turku, middle-sized city Finland, perceived their outdoor recreation changed nature contributed subjective well-being during early phases COVID-19. Sites associated ecosystem service were gathered through map-based survey. Since early 2020, researchers have made efforts to study various issues related cities and the pandemic. Despite wealth of research on this topic, there are only a few review articles that explore multiple it. This is partly because rapid pace publications makes systematic literature challenging. To address issue, in present study, we rely bibliometric analysis techniques gain an overview knowledge structure map key themes trends Results 2,799 show mainly focuses six broad themes: air quality, meteorological factors, built environment transportation, socio-economic disparities, smart cities, with first three being dominant. During the COVID-19 pandemic, United Kingdom (UK) government introduced public health safety measures to mitigate spikes in infection rates. This included stay-at-home orders that prevented people from leaving their homes for work or study, except urgent medical care buying essential items. practice could have both short and long-term implications wellbeing of UK. Using longitudinal data 10,630 UK adults, this study prospectively examined association between home confinement status during stringent lockdown (March 23-May 13, 2020) 20 indicators subjective well-being, social pro-social/altruistic behaviors, psychological distress, behaviors assessed approximately one month after ended. All analyses adjusted socio-demographic characteristics isolation beginning pandemic. Home was associated with greater subsequent compliance rules, more perceived major stressors, a lower prevalence physical activity. There modest evidence associations life satisfaction, loneliness, depressive symptoms, anxiety minor stressors post-lockdown. However, there little other indices well-being. While our shows impacts some outcomes even lockdown, degree adaptation difficult behavior remains unclear should be further studied.
