Jujing Zhuyu decoction (JZD) is a traditional Chinese medicine that effectively improves sperm motility. However, the molecular mechanism of JZD on asthenozoospermia still remains unknown. In this study, we investigated effect mitochondrial apoptosis pathway in an rat model. Sixty Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into five groups-control, tripterygium glycosides (GTW) model, JZD-low (JZD-L), JZD-medium (JZD-M), and JZD-high (JZD-H) groups (n = 12/group). GTW was used to generate The JZD-L, JZD-M, JZD-H administered 5, 10, or 15 g kg-1 day-1 granules respectively, for 4 weeks. Background: We determined the effects of Cuscutae semen (Cuscuta chinensis Lam. or Cuscuta australis R. Idiopathic oligoasthenozoospermia (iOAZS) is one of the major causes male infertility, and ideal therapies for iOAZS have not been established yet. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), including Xianlu oral solution (XL), has widely used as an adjunct treatment infertility in clinic. However, underlying mechanisms XL on are still known. Here, we found that therapeutic effects ornidazole (ORN)-induced OAZS model rats through amelioration testis tissues spermatogenesis improvement sperm concentration motility. Context Zhibai Dihuang pill (ZD), a traditional Chinese medicine nourishes Yin and reduces internal heat, is believed to have therapeutic effects on urinary tract infections (UTIs).Objective To explore the mechanism of modified ZD (MZD) UTI induced by extended-spectrum β-lactamase (ESBLs) Escherichia coli.Materials methods Thirty Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into control, model (0.5 mL 1.5 × 108 CFU/mL ESBLs E. coli), MZD (20 g/kg MZD), LVFX (0.025 LVFX), + groups 0.025 n = 6. To investigate the mechanism of action Wuzi Yanzong pill (WYP) in rats with oligoasthenozoospermia (OAZ) via metabolomics and to provide a possible basis for improving this WYP-based treatment. A rat model OAZ was established by treating male Sprague-Dawley glucosides from Tripterygium wilfordii Hook. F. Seventy-two were randomly divided into six groups: control, L-carnitine (positive control), model, low-, medium-, high-dose WYP groups. Rats experimental groups treated 4 weeks. At end treatment period, sperm cell quality (density, motility, viability) assessed using semen analysis system, mitochondrial membrane potential (MMP) flow cytometry, testicular injury hematoxylin eosin staining validate therapeutic effect OAZ. Further, serum metabolomics-based performed high-performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry identify differential metabolic pathways mechanisms considered successfully-established after comparing spermatozoa group that control group.
