Introduction
Cladonia
rangiformis,
also
known
as
reindeer
lichen,
has
been
used
for
various
remedies
in
folk
medicine.

nutritional
value
of
this
lichen
is
reflected
the
fact
that
it
contains
atranorin,
which
proven
to
have
numerous
biological
activities.

there

a
growing
interest

these
compounds.

review
aims
to
discuss
research
findings
