Pulmonary fibrosis is a progressive, irreversible, chronic interstitial lung disease associated with high morbidity and mortality rates. Current clinical drugs, while effective, do not reverse or cure pulmonary have major side effects, there are urgent needs to develop new anti-pulmonary medicine, corresponding industrially scalable process as well. Salvia castanea Diels f. tomentosa Stib., unique herb in Nyingchi, Xizang, China, variant of S. . its main active ingredient rosmarinic acid (RA), which can be used prepare methyl rosmarinate (MR) greater drug potential. This study presented an for the preparation MR, includes steps such polyamide resin chromatography, crystallization esterification, using Stib. starting material structure product was verified by NMR technology. The effects MR were further investigated vivo vitro Results showed that this easily obtain high-purity RA attenuated bleomycin-induced mice. In , could effectively inhibit TGF-β1-induced proliferation migration mouse fibroblasts L929 cells, promote cell apoptosis, decrease extracellular matrix accumulation thereby suppressing progressive fibrosis. anti-fibrosis effect stronger than prodrug RA. Further confirmed retard down-regulating phosphorylation TGF-β1/Smad MAPK signaling pathways. These results suggest has potential therapeutic implications fibrosis, establishment technology ensures development medicine.

Introduction Distal flap necrosis is a common problem in transplantation. Bletilla striata polysaccharide (BSP) the main medicinal component of traditional Chinese medicine striata. The purpose this study was to investigate mechanism BSP promoting survival. Methods control group, low, medium and high dose groups, + autophagy inhibitor 3-methyladenine (3-MA) group were designed establish model cross-boundary rat back.
