This study explores the mechanisms underlying aromatherapy effects of Chi-Nan agarwood ordinary in improving sleep. Using combination gas chromatography–mass spectrometry (GC-MS), network pharmacology, molecular docking techniques, we identified c ompared chemical compositions potential targets both types agarwood. The GC-MS analysis detected 87 volatile components across six aromatherapy, with 51 shared between agarwood, while each type also had 18 unique components. Ordinary was found to be richer sesquiterpenes small aromatic molecules, whereas contained higher levels chromones. These differences composition are likely responsible distinct observed two Through 100, 65, 47 non-repetitive target genes related sleep improvement were by (CSBTs), common (CUCMs), (CUCNs), respectively. constructed protein–protein interaction (PPI) networks revealed that key such as MAOA, MAOB, SLC6A4, ESR1 involved aromatherapy. Acute kidney injury (AKI) caused by ischemia and, exogenous or endogenous nephrotoxic agents poses a serious health issue. AKI is seen in 1% of all hospital admissions, 2‑5% hospitalizations and 67% intensive care unit (ICU) patients. The in‑hospital mortality rates for 40‑50, >50% ICU Ischemia‑reperfusion (I/R) the can activate inflammatory responses oxidative stress, resulting AKI. common endpoint acute tubular necrosis cellular insult secondary to direct toxins, which results effacement brush border, cell death decreased function cells. aim present study was assess if reported antioxidant anti‑inflammatory agent lupeol exert any effects against renal I/R damage. In total, 24 Wistar Albino rats were randomly assigned into four groups 6, namely Sham, lupeol, therapy groups. group, intraperitoneal administration 100 mg/kg given 1 h before laparotomy, whilst only laparotomy conducted sham group. arteries both kidneys clamped 45 min, after either saline injection (in group) application group). blood samples tissues collected h. samples, urea nitrogen (BUN) measured urease enzymatic method, creatinine kinetic Jaffe method. Using ELISA TNF‑α IL‑6 levels whereas malondialdehyde (MDA), glutathione (GSH), caspase‑3 tissues. addition, histopathological analysis performed evaluating degree degeneration, dilatation, interstitial lymphocyte infiltration, protein cylinders, loss borders. It determined that damage occurred due higher BUN, creatinine, MDA, values observed group compared with Sham Compared those exhibited increased GSH reduced TNF‑α, MDA. Furthermore, also had scores. Although differences not statistically significant, they markedly treatment Taken together, these findings suggest prevent as mainly evidenced scores, stress markers. These properties may allow be used

(1) Objective: To optimize the preparation process of hyaluronic acid-modified ginsenoside Rb1 self-assembled nanoparticles (HA@GRb1@CS NPs), characterize and evaluate them in vitro, investigate mechanism action HA@GRb1@CS NPs treating cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) associated with inflammation oxidative stress. (2) Methods: The optimal was screened through Plackett-Burman Box-Behnken designs. Physical characterization conducted using transmission electron microscopy, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, differential scanning calorimetry. Stability experiments, vitro drug release studies, lyophilisate selection were performed to performance NPs. anti-inflammatory antioxidant capabilities assessed H9c2 RAW264.7 cells. Additionally, bioinformatics tools employed explore treatment CVDs (3) Results: for achieved a CS concentration 2 mg/mL, TPP 2.3 mass ratio 1.5:1, resulting particle size 126.4 nm, zeta potential 36.8 mV, PDI 0.243. Characterization studies confirmed successful encapsulation within carrier, indicating In evaluations demonstrated that exhibited sustained-release effects, leading reduced MDA (Malondialdehyde) content increased SOD (Superoxide Dismutase) oxidatively damaged Furthermore, it showed enhanced DPPH (2,2-Diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl) ABTS

ABSTRACT Background Exposure to solar ultraviolet‐B (UV‐B) radiation significantly accelerates skin aging by inducing the expression of matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) such as MMP‐1, leading alterations in extracellular and consequent photoaging. Some plant components, renowned for their UV‐absorbing antioxidative properties, show potential mitigating photoaging reducing UV‐B‐induced MMP levels. In this context, we explored inhibitory effects Clerodendrum trichotomum extract (CTE) on damage. Methods The mechanism CTE was predicted using network pharmacology approach. Also, antiaging efficacy evaluated mouse model cellular system human epidermal keratinocytes (HEKa), including its modulation mitogen‐activated protein kinase (MAPK) signaling pathways. Results effectively counters damage, evidenced suppression MMP‐9 MMP‐1 mice. We found that each fraction chemical constituents suppressed secretion HEKa cells. Conclusion inhibits partially suppressing via MAPK
